this was a cherry log that Hank the bee guy brought to us to get sawed and we found out how highly figured it was , hope you enjoy! We have a online store at markgalicicchannel.com/
Suggestion… do a video following a log from your log pile ( or, coming in on a truck, even) thru checking for metal, sawing, edging, slab sawing and putting in the firewood rack. A day in the life of a log. I think it would be interesting for your audience. Might need a second or third camera to catch it all.
Enjoyed the video of moving the mill to its current location. What a job. Lots of work restoring the mill to the condition its in today. Thanks for sharing.
Appreciate the videos, and all the work it makes to produce good videos like you guys do. You sounding much better, prayers continue on the eye Mark.. from SE Texas Bear ty 💯 🙏
LOL! Of COURSE it's pretty wood outta a nasty log! That's how the wood GETS pretty! I really enjoy these videos, some of my earliest childhood memories are my father and my uncle, running a head saw here on the Farm. MUCH later, I found the actual receipt for the purchase of that saw, in the 1930's, and it was a used machine then. It's still here, though sadly, the timber framing under it has been beyond use for some years...
Hi Mark, I've seen all your vids to current. Hey snack videos are just as good as the long ones, brother. I just want to say, in Texas, I love adding cherry wood to my smoker with my mesquite and pinoak to my pit. It gives a sweet flavor, when I can find it. Been watching for over 2 yrs. Very relaxing with a stoggie and a glass of scotch in the evenings. Keep em coming my friend...tell Eddie is said hey! He's a worker! Thanks yall.
My church work party left me a log like this. 8-24" diameter for about thirty feet. Split and pesticided it so it wouldn't get ant-eaten. Stacked it in the woodpile two and a half years ago. I wish I had known...
Soon i will be bringing 3 nice 20+ diameter cherry logs to the mill. They are 20 + feet long no limbs. Still standing. They were casualties of the tornado that went thru here about 4 years ago. The tops are ripped off. The owner lost about 50 trees. Hoping i get in to some nice figuring
Can he saw a cherry log, Marky Boy, Marky Boy? Can he saw a cherry log, Mark Galicic? He can saw a cherry log To fence in horse or cow or hog. He's a sawyer, and soon will leave the airport.
Looked Like Captain Eddie about lost his job! You're getting more duffers than'll fit under your roof. They'll leave if you speed up. Happy weekend and God Bless!
If you're going to be quoting Columbo, you got to start whistling 'This Old Man' in the cab, which is his reoccurring theme. My favorite episodes were with Patrick McGoohan.
