thanks for the chat this morning. I feel like we're neighbors . I had a grilled cheese and a slice of pumpkin pie with black coffee for breakfast. The pumpkin pie was as delicious as my homemade recipe. It was a Marie Calendar frozen pie....baked according to directions. it will last me all week. I shouldn't admit to eating a whole pie this week but it tastes good to me . smile..the mrs. widow of bigjac

I usually watch your videos on my IPhone and then my iPad and give it a thumbs up on both devices but my phone gave me a message while watching your channel that my phone has a virus! Oh course I freaked out so I Googled what symptoms are suppose to happen and it told me but then it said that it was a scam in capital letters. It said IPhone does not or rarely gets a virus. I removed my RU-vid app and downloaded it again but it took forever to download it and then when I tried to write my comments it just kept on going and never went through. I tried another app and I had no issues with it. Just to be safe I will just watch your videos on my iPad. Continued prayers for you and your Moose, Nanny. This morning before getting out of bed I recited psalm 3:5 , I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord sustained me. And I asked our Heavenly Father to heal Moose’s back and balance issue and asked God to heal your arthritis and knee. Every morning I ask God to take care of you and your Moose. ❤❤❤

My husband loves preparing suet seed balls for birds. I purchased some round feeder cages that he fills up and then goes on a little pathway near our place to hang the cages in the trees. Now the chickadees and other birds seem to know when he will show up and they all fly in when he shows up - hahaha. See you at the next vlog! 💕

I’m happy to see that sunshine still exists because, here in the Chicago suburbs, we have only had 2 1/2 days of sunshine the WHOLE month of January…😢. My solution, as I probably mentioned before, is to turn on every lamp in the house and make MY OWN sunshine. I still approach everyday with joy in my heart…but this “no sun” rrreeeeaaallllllyyyy gets to me. Your sons look so much like their uncles. Glad you had a nice visit. My yard birds have been ravenous (and the squirrels). I must fill the feeders about every other day! I had to get a galvanized tub to store bird seed because the squirrels ate right through the heavy-duty plastic tub. Don’t you just love all the different bird songs. I have an app on my phone that identified 9 different birds in about 1minute. They bring so much joy. Yum that bread looks good. My ornamental pear trees are in full bloom (CA). Don’t slug your glasses 😂

Great video! Gosh I remember my mom made goulash.. at the end, she added sour cream(?). Wonderful over noodles! She added paprika over and over to get “that taste”! I can’t seem to duplicate..she never wrote recipes down. All special traditional family recipes were lost with her. You are lucky to have your boxes of secrets! Fun times..the days after visits are a bit of loose ends. Us in CA are due to get some days of much needed rain, so I’m settling in for some drawer and cupboard organizing. Hi from Annie you both are looking great ans so nice you had your brothers visit you wi ll have great memories of them and your time together glad they liked your cooking them the families fav meals. I like bagels with smoked salmon too and a bit of cream cheese or some of the crumbly cheese fetta that is nice too....with a dash of gherkin. You reminded my to do the skin slugging will do that now skin gets dry in summer have to protect it. I make Hungarian goulash often mum did it with carrots in it and sometimes peas or beans. We used to have it with mashed potatoes or noodles fried crispy. Well god bless take care.

So happy you had such a nice reunion with your brothers and family. I am taking care of my 72 yr old sister. She had knee replacement surgery 1 week ago. Was in a would of hurt but is getting better everyday. We go to PT 3x a week for 1 hrs. She is a much better patient than I would be!!! I showed her your video about the Driver toilet riser so she ordered it and came right in time. It is a God send!!!! Thank you so much for sharing with us. I'm hoping to start keeping track of all the things you have taught and shared. I have learned so much from you! Am so glad you didn't have to have knee surgery and are doing well. I lived in Southern Cal. In the late 1970’s when my husband was a grad. Student at USC. We were on a limited buget and I would love to go to pick-n-save to see what treasures I could find.

You have such a collection of wonderful recipes and a great kitchen to make them in. I could almost smell your goulash cooking. Mmmm. For me the highlight of your video was being able to sit outside with you and Moosie for breakfast in the lovely CA morning sunshine, blue sky and newly tidied palm trees. Up here in Southwestern BC 🇨🇦 we're still in the drearies of late winter. Thank you, dear Nanny, you make my mornings happy when you share your day.
