On a cold New England evening I made this delicious soup. First time and definitely not the last. It was out of this world great. I made enough to share with my neighbor, and she LOVED it too. Nanny, I made your French onion soup tonight. It was so easy and so delicious. I did add some additional seasoning (1 Knorr beef bouillon cube and half of a chicken bouillon and a dash of salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder as well as the sautéed medium onion to the onion soup. And it was absolutely delicious. Thank you again for sharing this recipe. I always enjoy your cooking segment. I hope you and Moose are staying safe and avoiding all the rain you are getting out there in California. I am so glad your knee is getting better. ❤️

Hi from Annie, You look lovely in that jumper and necklace with those love hearts. The soup looks nice and tasty fennel has a licoricey taste and the sage is great with white meats.I went to our Savers op shop today and got a couple of love heart things and dishes for Valentines Day I don't have a Valentine but just celebrate it myself any how and buy myself a little something n I got myself an early gift of two Hydrangea plants with nice pots and some good soil and also a Magnolia plant that has yellow fragranced flowers dress them up in my nice new pots which are black with gold smears over top looks costly but is only from the cheap as chips shop. I did some de cluttering of my front porch today gave away a 70yr old divan sofa after all these years was bit sentimental but a young chappy talked me in to de cluttering around here bit by bit he works as a helper n driver etc very helpful has a way of talking me into getting rid of the clutter no one has ever been able to do that before. Next is more clothes de cluttering made a start already bit by bit thou.

In my white chile I blend a can of (drained) cannellini beans with 1/2 cup broth and it eliminates the need for dairy (which I’m sensitive to). You’d never know the difference and I believe it’s much healthier. 😊

You're such a good improvisational cook, Mary Ellen. Your Valentine touches are very cheerful; love the necklace, the wreath and the pennants. We're are up here in Idyllwild and have had some snow and rain and wind, not too severe. Yet. Closet purging, yuck! I've got a big armoire in my craft room that's reached critical mass! Can't find stuff and can't pull anything out without 10 other things falling on the floor!

You need to blend any kind of liner that you apply under the eye. And blend with an upsweep to make sure the liner isn’t that thick. That’s the key 😉

The plants were Firesticks. Grow easy. But check to see if they irritate the skin if touched. Your videos are so much fun, Nanny! 💧Hang on, we are in for a big one 💧
