Yes that is the same sleeve. They aren't the same as a stiff sleeve, they are more of a compression sleeve.

XL might be too big. I wear XL in the original SBDs and my knee is 16” and 18” calves. I have another pair of L and i was using them when my calves were 17” but now they are hard to get on.

I have a 15.5 knee and 16.5 calf and XL fit perfect

i have 15,5 knee and 16,5 and i use a L size with the new sbd, they are easy to put on

The large or Xlarge would be a good choice. If it's your first pair of sleeves I would go with Xlarge.

I wouldn't suggest smaller than an XLarge in the Powerlifting knee sleeves. In the original 7mm you could probably get by with the Large.

Hey Todd, you can try to size down to the Medium, they can be much tougher to get on and off than the standard 7mm though.

If you can get them that close to getting then the XL should be okay, but even the 2XLarge will likely be compressive but more comfortable.

If the old ones are hard to get on in Small, I would recommend going up to the Medium.

It depends on a few factors, including if you let them air out while they dry, that can keep them pretty fresh. Normally every couple of months should be sufficient.

For a first pair I'd recommend a large.

You might be okay in the XLarge, however I'm concerned they might be too tight and hard to get off. I would recommend the 2XLarge.

I'm not familiar with the A7 sleeves, sorry. I personally find the Powerlifting Sleeves to be not too uncomfortable, although noticeably more compressive than the original.

It depends on how hard the large are to get on now, if they aren't too bad then stick with the large.

As mentioned they are not as stiff as the Inzer sleeves, rather they are designed to provide maximal compression on the joint throughout the entire range of motion of a squat, rather than having issues with the sleeve gapping at the bottom.

Sorry I'm not sure how the size compares. What is your knee and calf measurement?

We don't have good ETAs on Ergo Pros, we have many on order but Inzer isn't able to fulfill our orders consistently at this time.

Those are a size XL, smaller than I would normally want to wear.

It's a property of neoprene I have been told by SBD, and have observed myself.

@@InnerStrengthProducts thanks Ryan, that's is reasonable, because indeed thermal ageing is quite common on polymers and particularly in rubbers like neoprene, even if I don't have data about minimum ageing temperatures. Regards.

My momentum powerlifting knee sleeves just came in today.. comparing it with the ogs i have.. it is definitely nearly half an inch longer.. could be b/c i had the ogs for a while and washed it a few times and i haven't even broken in the new ones?

@@IamLEGENDkb24 it's possible that the ones you've had for a while, if very tight, have stretched laterally which will decrease their length a bit.

I have got them last week (literally ordered them 1 hour after their release. I have an old pair of SBDs and currently use the Inzer Ergo Pro. The new SBDs are thicker and better than the old ones. But are not even close to the Inzers and A7 Rigor Mortis. I might keep them as they are comfortable for volume work. Besides that, they are quite disappointing for a “stiff” pair.

SBD doesn't care about powerlifting. 😂 They downgraded the original sleeves these past few years and even worse since making colored sleeves. They resemble a sock more than actually being supportive. These new ones just restore the original neoprene formula that lifters complained about, but only because of Inzer putting them on blast did SBD finally remedy their product. SBD would have been selling the same subpar neoprene if it wasn't for Inzer.

I'm sorry you feel that way. SBD has made and continues to make more investments into powerlifting than any other company. Besides all the athletes they sponsor with money and equipment, they also put on the Sheffield, giving away hundreds of thousands in travel, accommodation, and prize. As someone who has used sleeves from SBD since the very first batch we brought in in 2013, they haven't changed them. There are variances in neoprene for sure, and SBD continues to try to tighten those tolerances.

I would recommend going with the 3XLarge with your measurements and the fact that they are your first pair of sleeves.

you really sized down and it was a good fit? i measure at the tail end of a Medium. i have Smalls in the OGs and they're a perfect fit.. also easy to get on and off.. got these powerlifting ones also in a Small but it was just way too small.. couldn't even get it on.. returned it for Mediums..@@HeshamAlshaibi

Arm sleeve trick worked like a charm to remove.

The demand is very high on a new product, however they are constantly being produced and we have just received our first restock so have almost all sizes in stock now.
