It used to be a black spot but the hurricane filled it in. We pulled an 85lb black off it the first time we found it. I think it will open back up but going to give it a while.
@@jasonbihari Our spots like that are full of red grouper. We MIGHT see one black a year up this far. Definitely cool when you do, though. Keep the vids coming brother!
This is pretty much right in the middle of Carbo Country. I think we have about 20 to 25 spots that hold them now consistently. The hurricane definitely filled some in that hopefully they will open back up.
watching you load past that powerhead scares the crap out of me. Also, I think you would benefit from using two different colors of shooting line. I personally really like bright yellow 400-lb stuff. Cool video
Pretty sure I’m going to go back to the slip on powerheads again and save this one for aj season. That way I can use both shafts again if there isn’t a black. The ones I make will do the trick just takes some time making them up.
