I've had the Scarface DVD for years. It was required watching, as a "hood classic." I finally upgraded it to this 4K a few months back for about the same price that Walmart has it now. I'm not always a De Palma fan but this is one of my favorites of his. Also, check out The Untouchables, Carlito's Way, and Dressed to Kill.

Great review. I'm a fan of scarface. Blows my mind you never saw this til now. To me ,this film wouldn't have been as good if al Pacino didn't play Tony. He makes the film and sells the character. A brian DePalma film I would recommend if you haven't seen is sisters . One of my favorite films of his. Great job.

Best part of Scarface is when he says "It's in the HDR, chico", or something like that ;) Great review! One of my all time favourites, glad you watched it man! Top 3 most rewatchable movies of all time in my list!

Saw it a few years back on one of the streaming services and enjoyed it. Might have to pick this one up especially at about $13 on Amazon

Good Review Man, Scarface Is one of the better 80s movies for sure. Other great Pacino movies are And Justice for all, Serpico, S1mone and Insomnia he is one of my favourite actors as well

It moved so quickly for me. I was locked in the whole time and that doesn't usually happen with me and 3 hour movies. Lol.. Definitely check it out!

Check his earlier project From De Niro & De Palma which are low budget projects working with Robert De Niro Greetings (1968), The Wedding Party (1969) & Hi Mom! (1970).

Dude how have you not seen Scarface before now? That was back when they could make a decent remake the movies they were remaking we're old enough that you didn't realize the current movie you were watching where remakes. Michelle Pfeiffer is gorgeous in that movie. It is the first of two movies starring Al Pacino and directed by Brian De Palma and it is a classic. Well I'm talking about Al Pacino I have to ask have you heard anything about the Godfather Trilogy 4K set that Paramount is rumored to be releasing?

This movie got absolutely robbed at the academy awards in 1983. it wasn’t even nominated for an academy award. It was nominated for several golden globes. The thing that blows me away, Brian DePalma was nominated for a Razzie for worst director. It is my 2nd favorite film of all time. The Crow is 1st.
