When “the man on the train” leans forward, that made my chest and my stomach flip around! Out of the last six of these videos I’ve watched, that half a second was the creepiest of all!!!
I just thought of something if you grab some nerf darts and dunk them in holy water load them into the nerf blaster I wounder if it would hurt the demon thing or ignore my random though
The first one really got to me, it was so damn eerie, the jump forward in his seat made my heart skip a beat, the guy who made that deserves all the props, it was easily the most scared I’ve been in my life
Something in horror I like is when a character cannot tell something is there. But not like they're too stupid to look, or are missing obvious clues. So when I tried to write horror, I went with the "only seen on camera" thing too. Because in my view, watching a recording of yourself where you were in the same room as a monster and you just didn't know, is so damn chilling. Especially if in the footage you actually do 'react' to it and you remember doing it, but still can't remember ever seeing the monster. If you remember taking a longer route around an area and didn't know why, and the footage shows you why. That the monster was in the way. Because it makes you question every action you take from that point on. "Did I do that because something's there?" and now you don't even need the monster or the footage. Because everything feels like a sign that you're not alone now. I think I might have channeled by mental illnesses into that a bit. Because as a paranoid schizophrenic, I kind of described how I tend to feel all the time. I just dont have the camera footage to prove it.
Imagine a horror story based on Where's Waldo, but after you find him, he has to find you. If he finds you, you vanish and are trapped in a book. All those other people in the book are his victims.
There is an scp called scp 4885 who looks like waldo and basically does the same thing except he shrinks and and goes inside your body and kills from the inside.
honestly, the scariest one for me was the man on the train one - way too realistic with the whole running into freaks while using public transportation thing
I think the most unsettling thing was the man on the train right when you see him. You can’t clearly see him, so there is a sense of confusion. But you see him staring, you know he’s staring. You don’t want to look, but you’re scared that he will move when you look away.
The Man on the Train is like that feeling when you’re on the train home at night and everyone else gets off except you and the random, slightly dodgy looking dude at the other end of the carriage who keeps looking at you and you hope to god his stop comes up before yours.
I was thinking about the Man on A Train one all day today and I think one reason why it’s so effective is because that hunch/lean down is a stalking behavior that you don’t see humans do naturally. That’s what an animal does when it’s hunting.
I'm hoping Sean being more active is a sign of him feeling better and not just him doing it out of feelings of obligation. Love seeing more content and seeing him have fun.
Past Seán would have done exactly that. These days, I firmly believe that RU-vid is no longer his top priority. Life is. That’s why he only uploads a fraction of the content that he used to. Seán spent the majority of his twenties putting what his viewers wanted before his own needs. A perfect example (which Seán didn’t reveal to us until the Trevor Project Charity Stream in June or July of 2019) is dying his hair green. He never told us that the bleach used to burn his scalp- and he actually wanted to stop dying his hair long before he finally stopped doing it- because he was terrified of disappointing people. Which is fucking ridiculous how far some people took that obsession. It’s *HIS GODDAMN HAIR!* These days Seán seems to have a lot less trouble putting his foot down and saying no. As someone who has taken two decades (nearly half my life) to come to terms with that, I’m proud of the Young Lad for getting a handle on it much sooner than I did! 💚🤗🤗💚
@@Lesley_RedRhody I'm happy Sean is doing what he wants to do and not letting the opinions of others affect him. It's sad that he kept dying his hair because he was scared to let people down. But it seems like he is feeling better now and that's awesome. I hope he doesn't feel obligated to post all the time ever again. No matter how often or how rarely he posts I will always love him and his content.
@@memyselfandi3246 It’s nice to read comments like yours and Coffee Addict’s. I think the fact that Seán didn’t upload today (November 1st) is proof that he wasn’t feeling obligated. Also, just to throw a bit of a hot take out there: I don’t think any of the recent uploads were Anti related. More specifically, I’m glad he doesn’t seem to be stressing out over Ego Content the way he did in the past. Not to suggest that Seán didn’t enjoy creating those kinds of videos- especially collaborating with Robin on the effects- but I strongly believe there haven’t been any Ego hints in videos since the brief upload featuring Marvin last Halloween. To those who complained: “What? That’s it?” I’d like to remind them that Seán uploaded that video almost two months before he told us on Twitch about all of the health problems he was having. I don’t have anything against Ego Content. In fact, I love it! But, in my opinion, too many people in this Beautiful Community of ours see Ego hints where there aren’t any and then they get pissed at Seán when said imaginary hint goes nowhere. I don’t know why I went on this tangent. I guess it was on my mind regarding the types of things Seán used to stress out over and doesn’t seem to anymore.
I like the idea of taking fairy tales, fables and urban legends and making freaky stories about them. Short and simple is usually the best. First time on your channel...love the content!
Oh thank god i was worried i was just being dramatic for a minute there since nobody else was mentioning it. I've have my finger over the play button for almost a full minute now. Like, the face isn't the main thing bothering me. It's the way he fucking moves I want to click off the video at this point --but i wanna see what happens so i can't Oh i was about to say good luck but you watched it yesterday so ig you probably don't really need it anymore 😀
I'm so glad you said this lol. I used to do horror all the time and now I am stuck paused on the first one like I just can't go on... Can't watch anything vaguely scary for years now!
The Götcher. The name kind of gives it away. I'm assuming he takes more than 2 seconds to prepare his videos, so he did have enough time to give that title some thought.
Oh God! Man on a train, The way that guy ducks down when she sees him is fucking terrifying oh my god! I had to look away, that just triggers something in my lizard brain that tells me to fucking run
This gave me so much chills and i actually have a pain in my stomach now. Very good short horror videos. I am so glad i watched them with you instead of alone
This was awesome seeing you react to my Where's Waldo horror short! Feel free to react to any of my other horror shorts, I think you'd like "My Normal Childhood" and "CATFISH" Thanks again Jack!
*He leans in and whispers softly in her ear...* “Do you have 90 minutes to talk about the Jacksepticeye How Did We Get Here? Live Show Comedy World Tour, now sponsored by Coke Zero with that same great taste but zero sugar with ADDED VANILLA!!!"
To be fair, House of Ashes came off as more of an action thriller than a straight up horror game. The only truly horrifying thing about House of Ashes was the one dude who was still half way alive under that weird goo stuff, all while the exposed half of his body was rotten and decayed. Man of Medan and Little Hope were more horror than House of Ashes was, but those two also really suck because of the stupid dream/hallucination copouts they did. It just seems like Supermassive have been shuffling their feet around the Dark Pictures Anthology for a long time. They'll never be able to make a game as good as Until Dawn.
I think the most realistic horrors are the scariest ones, like Man on the Train, it feels more like thriller than anything. Like many people (especially women) know what it feels like to be stalked on a train late at night! It's not as dramatic, but it can sure feel like it.
@@sikka6440 Yeah, the feeling of someone staring at you with their body facing you, while you know that there's probably not going to be anyone around, and no one will help, when you walk off into the quiet, dark night.
The train one actually scared me - his movement and face was fucking terrifying!! Not human. Normally these short movies don’t get to me but this one did.
The first one was really scary. I get super freaked out by people just doing weird, unnatural and/or exaggerated movements in a creepy setting like that ya know? I love this series tho so much!
Dropping a needle in carpet is a mix between the floor is lava and where's waldo. But if you can't find Waldo he kills you. "Find him before he finds you."
I had to stop watching during that one. Completely alone at work, in a big car service/detail shop, closing for nightshift. Whoever made that one has some serious talent.
I might be late, but Sean, I do love that you had Robin (I assume he's still your editor. Haven't been watching for a while so I'm sorry) bring back that moment of Anti being on screen. If it was just him doing that for fun...either way. I do love that Anti showed up again, and it makes me want to rewatch those episodes with him in it again! I do hope new subscribers get to know the lore behind that as I have grown to. In any case, keep doing what you do! I do hope you can fully recover from the virus, and PLEASE! Continue making fantastic uploads, I love your content!
Yeah as someone else said it’s a classic stalker movement, you see that and you do something. The reason it’s so terrifying is because that’s what predators do when hunting (again I found this in another comment soo would do some research)
So fun fact, the people who made “where’s Waldo” felt “Wally wouldn’t resonate with North American readers” so they changed it to Waldo before publish. The same happened to France “where’s Charlie” and for Germany “Where’s Walter”
Same people who thought Americans were too dumb for "Philosopher's Stone," so we all got "Sorceror's Stone". Jokes on them! I'm too stupid to spell sorcarer!
The Man on the Train was the scariest to me, because it was the one that seemed most realistic. Where's Waldo (yes, I'm in the US) had me laughing because he looked so goofy. 😅
1. No, no no. You don't understand how much the train one actually scares me. I ain't afraid of no bozo on public transit when other people are around (heck I don't even take public transit, and I'm ever grateful), but if I'm alone with a guy who wants to stare me up and down and try to get closer to me? Nuh-uh, nope, not a chance, I'm out, goodbye! 2. Dude, that trick with the camera is GENIUS!! The fact that you can only see the creepy ghost lady in the film is amazing, and props to the woman for going for the weapon! Not going to do much against a ghost/demon/whatever, but it's the thought that counts. That one gave me chills. 3. So - full movie when? I want to see a movie under that premise. Please, I'll write it if I have to, it's too good to pass up xD 4. So I looked a bit into it and apparently it was changed to Waldo in America because the American publishers thought "Wally" wouldn't "resonate with North American readers." I have no idea what kind of excuse that is, but alright, and apparently he's Charlie in France and Walter in Germany. Regardless - creepy af video, and yes, I saw all the Waldo/Wallys lmao. _He's coming for you_ ;)
It's a tactic by women to ensure that no one sits next to them. If someone does choose to scoot past and sit on the window seat, the woman sitting in the isle seat has a quicker exit. What's frightening, is the fact women feel they should do this especially travelling on public transport at night.
@@TheToohey10 Ive never been o a train or anything, but ibwould definetly do that not sit by the window, only because i would wanna be able to easily stand up and kick someone
"I heard it too" is a very scary one. An award winning short horror film. The channel is Matt Sears. The whole thing was based on a two-sentenced horror story.
@@Atown610 “ A girl heard her mom yell her name from downstairs, so she got up and started to head down. As she got to the stairs, her mom pulled her into her room and said "I heard that, too."
Totally agree... the ambience, the unknowing and absolute dread and fear they convey is terrifying. And they always end just knowing that the person has just died horribly!! There's never an escape.
YT is the new mainstream, that's why they buy all bloggers into slavery to Satan. It's better to do for 5 people, and even no money. Their HQ's need to be stormed by storm-troopers from Star Wars.
@@Spoonicks or even worse, everyone who has ever been smart enough to "find" him earned a stripe and now he's gonna cash it in bacuase we weren't supposed to find him....
I watched that "Where's Waldo" short a while ago, and I learned that there's a Waldo in every shot of the short film. Some of them are harder to find than others
I haven’t gotten to this part in the video yet, but it threw me for a loop because I’m sitting on my bed on Halloween scrolling through the comments dressed as Waldo.... I think my heart stopped for a second.
With that 'the idea of having something be seen only by the camera, but it's always there' with the faceless Jack in the background really made me wish for more Anti stuff
