Good teachers don't just help you learn about a subject, they help you learn about yourself. She was obviously one of those teachers, she helped guide him toward his passion- even if it wasn't her subject (maths).

Lol, I did something similar for a frat initiation years ago. A little street drifting with the pledge blindfolded in the back seat. He had no idea what was going to happen, he didn't realize the destination WAS the trip.
