All useful - my favourite by far though is the Cambodian "Krama": towel, head gear, loincloth, shawl, scarf, shopping bag . . . and (a very long time ago) a hammock for our baby girl!
My friend, we are once again in agreement. However, I would like to add to your list, the Särmä Large Square Scarf is made of 80/20 Merino Wool and is my personal favourite. I just wish it was also available in Tan 😢
I keep a shemagh for warmth in the winter (its actually in my bag 90% of the time) and a buff for sleepy time. I find the shemagh is too restrictive when trying to sleep as i fidget so i use it as a pillow and use the buff on my noggin and over my eyes
Nicely done! Those are some really nice options. I keep an old Swiss wool scarf in the lids of my jääkäri. It’s about .5m x2m. Really useful kit. Cheers brother
I love a shemagh and absolutely carry one. I really like Lancer Tactical for these. However, I also carry a pashmina shawl. Weaver's Villa is the brand to look for, as they are the genuine article. They're made of 100% wool and measure 50" by 100" so they're big enough to be used as a very small blanket and and sirprisingly warm. Even on a large caliber man, these make a great additional layer for the torso.
