I have an intermittent problem with the fan not blowing. I thought it was the motor, but now I am starting to think it was the resistor, since the replacement motor had the same issue, and then quit completely.. Will replace and find out!! Thanks for the tips on reaching those screws.

Honestly, If this thing hadn't been a 5speed I probably wouldn't have bought it. I needed a replacement for my old 97 Accord 5 speed that had more cargo room. Once I found out the Element was sold as a stick shift the search was on.
