When Hooper loses it with that look on his face (5:21) and draws out his gun, I cracked up laughing knowing that Banky's screwed. What I didn't know later on is that it's Hooper's marketing ploy to sell his comic.

Kevin Smith is true last bastion of Indy film makers. To make it big before the internet as an Indy was saying something back then. I’m glad to see he lost weight - we need Kevin around for a long time, the dude gave me endless hours of laughs so you just automatically kind of love that dude that can do that.
I can after seeing what he did to He-Man, and his response to the fans for hating it. Kevin Smith used to be one of my heros, and I own every View Askew universe movie on Blu-Ray, but this is going to be a hard pass from me because I can't stand fake woke.
When I first saw this scene in the theater I laughed so hard I pissed myself. You good sir, are the only director able to get an engaging performance out of Ben, though he WAS THE BOMB IN PHANTOMS YO! And who could forget his masterful turn in "Moonraper".

Even better is the outtakes where Ben is messing up his lines and Jadon Lee can't stop laughing. I swear Jason has the most infectious laugh I've ever seen in this outtake.

One of my favorite films of all time. One of my favorite scenes of all time. Watching & experiencing this scene for the very first time made me uncomfortable at first, then had me laughing like crazy, after realizing it was all staged to increase the sales of Hooper X’s book. Fucking tremendous. 🤣💯

Ain’t it crazy my friend. The cartoon is not even bad. They just keep coming over nothing. They will never ever ever cancel Kevin Smith. People love his ass, me included. If Kevin had He-Man marry Skeletor I could give a dam. Kevin never hid whom he is in his whole life, and what they claim is so off base it’s ridiculous. There is nothing wrong with that cartoon.
I feel it is very rare in this day and age for a successful creative person to fall under the radar of anothers. Chance meetings like this are a rare and beautiful thing. Rather than two ships passing in the night, you were two stars colliding.
