Sorry folks but being out on parade in all weather is just part of being in the army. It is made very clear to humans during basic training before you sign on the dotted line. The horses, unfortunately are part of the parade but they didn't have any choice. The troopers will have to take care of the horses before they can take care of themselves. A very quick change into working clothes in 10 minute shifts are as much as the troopers will get until the horses are dried, fed, watered abd settled.

I certainly hope the troops (horses and soldiers) get extra time to dry off and get warm again. It may only be rain, but don't they have to march back to the barracks? Their not only going to be drenched, but also cop and raw. The big guys don't have to worry, their care can go right back into the tunnel. I hope none of the troops get sick!! 😥😥
Abdullah I am sorry for saying bad words on your channel. It is not your fault. Please forgive me. John always says the horses don’t like the rain why on earth are they out in that torrential rain ? So so so cruel for horses and troopers / guards 😢😢😢😢
What are they waiting for this rain doesn’t look like it is going to let up! Being outside in this weather could be bad for both horses and the troopers! Call off the inspection and get everyone inside where they will be safe! We have had severe thunderstorms here in the USA on the east coast!
It's a rehearsal for Trooping the Colour the Kings official birthday , all the different regiments have a rehearsal , they are perfectly safe , if it's raining like this on the day it won't be cancelled ! Horses will get a good fun down and a warm mash after , Troopers will see to them before themselves !
It's not an inspection. It is a rehearsal for Trooping the Colour. If it pours like that on the day events will carry on. Same for the rehearsal. Four-legged Troopers(horses) will be minded first the two- legged Troopers(humans) after they tend to the horses.
It’s the military ! This is what they do. War isn’t pretty and clean .They sent a car for the brass ! They would beat a trail to the barns if there was lightning ⚡️ I’m sure !
It's common for the higher ups and strategists in WAR to be in shelter, while the troops/gear/tanks/horses are out in harsh weather. The official on the white horse didn't seem fazed. The horses and guards should be no different. They are on duty doing their jobs.
And if it's pouring like this on the actual day of Trooping the Colour , don't do it because someone thinks it's cruel ! It's only water it won't kill them !
Tell that to the men and women, in wars years ago like WW1 & 2 fighting and drowning in trenches filled with rain water, or the men and women fighting in Ukraine
