Schrade SCHF 38 Frontier Bushcraft Knife review, Part 3 of 5 

On my SCHF 38 I used a dremel tool and took the coating off the spine. Now it sparks a fero rod and scrapes like a champ. The fero rod groove is the perfect size for the Schrade fero rod (1/4" I think). I put Schrade fero rods on every fixed blade I have as they work well and cost about $5. Don't grind the spine, just take the coating off. You can use a file also. Thanks for the review.
