@@lo2713 arrived today with some other bits I got off him. All ready for the next worksop and Batley rounds!! Look quality kit for those thinking about them!!
It looks nice with the carbon plates installed and it is a beautiful kit now! So much cool carbon bits on there! I am still dragging my feel ordering parts for mine to get it going again.
Hi Richard,, it is Richard isn't it? I always enjoy your uploads so please carry on, like yourself I stopped racing around 91,92, the flame has reignited and I intend to start again. I'm unemployed presently but as soon as I get a job I will start saving, probably just with 2wd to begin, I'm thinking £1500-£1700 should be enough. I started with a Boomerang and then PB Mustang which won my first a final, West Midlands buggy club. Also had yokomo super dog fighter and fishes with Cat xls. Do you know If West Midlands buggy club still exists? Unfortunately my parents threw away all my car's and spares when I worked abroad, real shame that! Look forward to your next upload. Alex
Hi Alex, with that budget you’ll easly get back racing. Im not sure if that club is still running ? Brca web site or facebook would be a good place to look. And if you want to run vintage its worth checking they do a vintage heat. Its more gentlemanly racing 😂 but hope you get sorted soon 👍
Brushless motors dont produce a lot of heat, if its to hot to touch its not geared right. There may be a slight weight saving, but its more about looking good in my eyes 😎
I know this is an older video now but I'm looking for some help. I fitted the carbon plates when i fitted the Pro trans and I have a load of end float in the layshaft. I know they are slightly thicker but the shift in mesh between the spur and pinion is making it unusable. Any help greatly appreciated 🙏
@@4l3xmatley88 without seeing it, its hard to work out. But there shouldnt be that much play ? It may be worth measuring the plates to see how much thicker they are and see if it adds up. I know i have a small amount of play with the stock plates and pro trans. But it not enough to effect the mesh. Happy to help out, just fire away with any questions 👍
Haha, still on the iphone, but have bought a sony camcorder. Should be better for filming races 🤞 i’ll hopefully be moving into my very own mancave soon. The eldest is going to OZ for 2 years to work. Be a shame to waste the bedroom 😂
