Every time I see a viral video of food workers doing all of these crazy flips and tricks with the food or playing games with the customers or even just putting together a product with speedrun level efficiency I think to myself: "There's no such thing as an unskilled job, only unskilled workers."
This is a person that is committed to being sanitary. Puts on gloves, uses them for one task, then tosses those gloves and immediately grabs another pair for the next task. There is absolutely no cross-contamination in this work environment. I applaud Dylan for his commitment to cleanliness, and I wish more service workers shared his dedication.
From my experience working fast food, we need to get the orders done in a out 1min 30 tops. And usually there's about 5-7 constant orders during rush hour, the amount of stress I am under at times is unbelievably high, especially if I'm "On bench" alone
i just see all fast food workers (the ones that care and talk to people the serve) as chill people and genuinely nice people NOT low life drop outs... plus if ur nice u might get free cookies always worth respecting fast food workers
As someone who dreams at working at a local coffee shop, i agree with everything. Some people think it's a "waste of my potential", but as someone who doesn't like office jobs, i see this at my goal, even owning a coffee shop some day. I'm in nurse school now, but damn i would give anything to just make a life out of working at a café.
same here, mom says I'm crazy because I loved my job at Walmart and would like to go back, I'm a Vet student but tbh I don't see myself working in the field, I'd love to have a "small" job like my previous one or like you, owning a cafeteria!!!

I think fast food workers are some of the most hard working. There not trying to get a job that pays so much they could have a mansion. The people who think differently are the type of people who don’t tip
if I worked at McDonald’s, my mom would probably be mad at me, if I worked at a freaking ice cream shop like this one, I don’t know who could be mad about that

I worked at a pizza place for 3 years. But, a week ago, I decided to quit because I got hired at a new pizza place. That pizza place had some amazing people to work with, the work is relatively easy and tips were good. The only reason I'm leaving is because my boss refused to give me a raise, as well as telling my other coworkers that he sees women as beneath him so he was always super hard on me, and not my other male coworkers. But ill never forget the times where we did have some good times. But it was time to move on and away from that toxic environment. This new job is offering me a raise after 3 months, as well as a promotion. I start this weekend and I couldn't be more excited. I'm not sure why I'm telling you this, but this video got me feeling some type of way. I wish everyone luck. Its time for bigger and better things.
Honestly, I have high respect for fast-food workers. You folks have to be good at multi-tasking and despite the huge time pressure you need to stay friendly. Keep going. We need you here.

@AriBari 2.0 in this day an age people need motivation.. Comparing with others just makes one feel so useless.. Everyone is unique in their own way.. Just try your best, don't doubt yourself or put yourself down from what others say... Believe in yourself an overcome the fear of failure. 👍🏻

I don't look down on anyone in fast food. I look down on people who don't do their damn job. Doesn't matter if you work at McDonalds or some "professional" company, do your job well and you have my respect.
I used to work at a McDonald’s and was getting paid $9.50 an hour. I then switched to a retirement home and was getting paid $13 an hour. At the retirement home, I barely had to do anything. It was just talking to the old folks and assisting them with what they need and they don’t even ask for much while I’m there. Working at McDonalds was definitely harder. Fast food workers are hella underrated. They need to be paid more too.

Exactly! I worked as a pimp for this prostitution ring once and was paid thousands per night. I literally just sat there and had women jerk me off during down times. As a fast food worker I had to bust my ass. It’s totally not fair

i love how at the end, he realized he had to close the container, but he had just taken his gloves off, so he put more on. that just shows how much he cares, because pretty much everyone I know except my mom and my sister, would just close the lid.
@@CarlosMora_ getting canceled and fired from a job because of unsanitary practices is worse than getting canceled because of wasting plastic. At least you won't lose your job. Even if you do, there will still be people who want to hire you. On the other hand, nobody is going to hire unsanitary workers.
Honestly fast food wasnt for me, vut it definetly was a learning experience for me, about how hard customer service and making food can be. It gave me a perspective of how hard people like you work, and i genuinly try to be as repectful as i can be to any employee working in this kinda stuff. I was a cook at different restaurants for around a decade. I always liked my plates to look appetizing. I enjoyed the thought of people grinning when they saw it in front of them... but when he said something about putting the cookie sandwiches out for someone to buy... that’s sounds extremely gratifying. Making something that someone chooses out of many to buy. Never thought of that aspect of places like that. It’s an art, man
