What an enormous privilege it is to see the late Scott Ross performing - I have his Erato recordings of the entire 550 Scarlatti sonatas for harpsichord, I have listened to them countless times but to actually SEE Scott Ross is just unbelievable! What a tragedy was his early passing.

Merveilleux et regretté Scott Ross. Fut un temps, on trouvait l'intégral enregistrement de ce direct enregistré je crois au théatre du Ranelagh, jamais édité en DVD...

Quel artiste, hélas disparu ! Organiste également. J'ai le coffret, mais ça s"écoute petit à petit, 555 à la suite serait trop. :-)

pour moi aussi c'est la plus émouvante, il faut l'écouter par Alexandre Tharaud, c'est la meilleure interprétation de toutes!

@@dlefil1364 on doit avoir les mêmes goûts! La version de MJ Pires est celle que je préfère... après celle de Tharaud.

@@isabellannetube je trouve que Tharaud a un jeu un peu moins "technique" qu au debut de sa carrière (pour Chopin de memoire). Là, il m'a heureusement surpris.

@@isabellannetube c'est fait pour le clavecin.... il y a une rigueur, une apreté, une suavité et une douceur que le piano rend moins bien ...et j'aime bien A.T :)
