Kate gave a very clear message when repeatedly asked if she had been pressured not to stand - she said that in her view her party and the people of Scotland need stability at this time and since that is what John Swinney has said he also wants, she supports him. Must be lucky here in south east , no problem getting dental or physio or doctor appointments, excellent cancer treatment too and social care for elderly , I appreciate it is different in other parts of country. All carers and dentist I have used in last 2 years are immigrants from India and Africa and are fantastic

I broke one of my front teeth 2012, it couldn't be crowned. I went to a University dental school for the removal and post part of the implant. People don't realize just how long teeth really are, that tooth was at least 2 inches long. Here in the US it has cost $8,000 to have that implant done (will say the first dentist (not the dental school - they repaired the mistake- screwed it up and the crown broke off which was $2k of the total). I was having a filling done earlier this year and joked to my current dentist, that I've paid more for dental work than I have for my 3 cars (around $35K) his reply was yeah that was about right.

I couldnt go as I was at work, but they said get in here tomorrow and I got a raft of tests done. All within 24 hours, but would have been seen within hours. I enjoy the Sunday roast but politely and as someone who lives in Scotland you REALLY need to invite on some people who are not independence or SNP supporters from Scotland onto the Roast as what we had today was a highly skewed overview of the current political situation here. A significant proportion of the Scottish population don't want independence and had voted for the SNP as they were perceived to be competent. That reputation for competence has gone now with multiple failed initiatives leading to a collapse in SNP support. Simply blaming the energy and banking crisis for any Scottish problems is a lie by omission by your guests, Scottish public services which are failing at the moment are devolved. We have the Ferry Fiasco, the failure to push forward with the A9 dualing work and collapsing public infrastructure yet all the SNP and their hard core supporters care about is getting another Indy referendum. John Swinney was the architect of Curriculum for Excellence which was intended to improve attainment in Scottish schools, instead the quality of Scottish education has dropped in schools that are literally collapsing!
