I feel like the reason the bobbies were so hostile to the foundation prior to When Day Breaks would be the bobbies would think the foundation would hamper the attempt at Unlondon being a sort of last bastion for hummanity. but once the end of the world DID happen the bobbies no longer saw the foundation as a threat but as survivors to save.

I believe the reason why the bobbies were so hostile towards Containment staff was because they were trespassing in UnLondon since there wasn’t a end of the world scenario they weren’t supposed to be in UnLondon unless it was time. That would explain why the bobbies didn’t attack on the day they lost contact with control.

I love this story. Its ending is so bittersweet, but fitting. I especially love that part where as the welcome message plays, you hear some one yell open fire, followed by the sounds of a desperate pitched battle, with gun fire slowly dying down as the resistance drops one by one, ending with the last defiant man, still firing his gun to the end, until it too falls silent.

So unlondon is what others thought, it’s an underground recreation of London, and that this scp serves as a last resort in case of an apocalyptic event happens, so what I’m thinking is that the Unlondon scp is not just a recreation of London but it also has a recreation of Dublin, meaning that there could be an entire underground world, because Dublin is in Ireland. I honestly love the scp world

God, this had some freaking tear jerking moments. The PA speaker sacrifice, the frustration/despair at the purpose of his work falling and his final choice to save the last survivors, to nuke unLondan. Dude, this twenty minute video was a ride if their ever was one.

Wow. I never thought that an scp tale would actually make me tear up. Something about the speech Unlondon gives about being the first and last city just struck me.

I just realized that there’s probably a whole un-earth Then I realized the pun. *Unearthed* I hate you for that.

1. *_'May The Sun Never Set On The British Empire'_* is one of my favorite Cross-SCP Tales. I am surprised that there were/are not more Cross-SCP tales of SCP-001: 'When Day Breaks' with other SCPs, it is such a great & open palette to work with. 2. One minor critique I have is that for me, I always 'heard' the Public Announcer for UnLondon in a more haughty and pompous tone, like Winston Churchill. But I understand the limits of "working with what you have, not what you wish," for making independent videos/films, so that is a minor issue. *;)* 3. *@SCP Illustrated ~* A more serious critique I have here is that you should have also included the last part of the _'Site-17 Audio Transmission'_ (4:14) from the article/tale. Where after _("We....Shit, it's in the vents! Open fire!")_ the shooting, screams, and silence, the "same" (note "quotations") broadcaster then comes back on the air and gives the "all clear" signal and insists for everyone to come outside into the sunlight. I think leaving that out, you missed a particularly good point of Horror. You know I'm happy that the author of UnLondon balanced his SCP's power. UnLondon was a ramshackle city to where it couldn't sustain life for too long or have a proper guard, the only semblance of which were mummies with uniforms and sticks, but also held enough power that not only could it create weapons to effectively burn the Melted, but also lead survivors to other cities of the UnEarth.
