For a Keter class, this one is relatively tame. All you have to do is not go anywhere near the strange dudes in diving suits and run for the hills if you see blood and spinal fluid in a rainstorm.

Keter just means really difficult to contain, and keep contained. the class ranking system isn't based on how much of a threat it poses, but instead how easily it can breach containment, and the amount of resources and funding it takes to keep it contained.

And plus, the “divers” aren’t human, so there’s literally nothing for the 001 entities to absorb, since the suits are indestructible. Edit: and even if they had humans inside, the suits would prove to be exceptional protection from the sun.

Its usually just how difficult they are to contain, and their danger level is seperate. A teleporting cat that is otherwise harmless is keter, and a button that will end the world if you press it is safe as long as you keep it secure enough.

I think you should cover more of these obscure and lesser known SCPs. Thats what the Foundation Database is all about, the long list of entities, waiting to be discovered by curious people. That being said, I enjoyed the Narration style with the different voice actors, it was a nice touch :)

So...in the second interview the FX applied to the voices are swapped. The SCP-1861-B instance is speaking clearly, whilst the D-Class is speaking as though muffled in a diving suit.

I like how unlike other scps where you go somewhere and come out completely different, its you but with a new goal and stuck with it forever but maintain memories, like you are still human.

This is honestly a fascinating SCP. It isn’t necessarily malicious or cruel, but it seems like it’s an SCP that experienced another SCP which caused it ‘recruit’ survivors. I don’t think it came from SCP-001, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it was from some kind of XK scenario that ended up in our dimension, only the Captain and crew can’t tell the difference.
