Thanks I’m 14 and me and my dad have to strip out an old factory for a friend of my dads because he has the correct tools to do it. We are starting in the out houses and there is a cabinet bout a meter wide and 6 feet tall full of them. This was very informative because we have never actualy took apart one of these boards
Easier way wrap the breaker in a small tower or rag/cloth and snash it with a hammer take out the goodies and the rubbish is in the cloth and makes it easy to discard it shake it out in the bin.
Theres an easier way to get those apart neatly. Put a screwdriver over the round inserts, usually 4 of them. And wack it with a hammer. Pins pop out and it just comes apart nice
@@TheEvilDrR... Recheck your scrapping value calculations for how much money his scrapping is worth? The copper, gold and silver don't add up to probably even 25-50 cents. He has to scrap like 1000 of them to get close to an ounce in silver and lbs in copper (not as much of an ounce in gold). If he can sell all three of those breakers for 50 cents or more I'd say sell it to a restorer for 50 cents or more.
Yep, worst one iv had yet took 6 stitches in my hand attempting to use a carpet cutting blade to clean scrap copper wire about 5 inches thick, the plastic covering it was useless and ended up causing a fire, just glad it was only the shed that got the flame
