Well Hollywood writers went on strike a couple days ago and now that might do the trick. It better because even writers have to live and feed their families and pay bills and rents and mortgages. Hollywood better learn their lesson after that. Hopefully that will get Neve Campbell to reprise her role in Scream 7 since her pay will be much higher.

Sorry to say it dude, but I think almost everybody who has watched the scream Movies has heard about this news.

No one is perfect in morals. Im glad she's not perfect. The characters should be flawed. People are selfish even when they think they're not.

I feel like bringing Gale’s character back & letting her live is unnecessary. She stopped improving in 4 tbh. Now that Dewey is gone & Sid is wrote out of the script, there doesn’t seem to be a real reason for Gale. Hopefully, they bring back Sid for the next one. I’m still trying to have faith in that lol

Poor thing. I wasn’t a huge fan of her character in 5 but she definitely acted her butt off. Loved her in 6. I never understand why people go after the actors so harshly. She did amazing.

I feel really bad for Melissa. Sam was not well written in five. The whole Billy thing is ridiculous and she was given some really dumb lines that not even Toni Colette could save

Honestly blame the writers for that one. Not the actress. You can act as hard as you can but a trash script is still garbage. Poor Melissa. People need to grow tf up.

YES, thank you! Kevin had that as his original trilogy with Stu surviving (never got shot in the head). The ONLY reason it got scrapped was because of the Columbine massacre and his storyline hit to close to home to the actual tragedy. The massacre happened literally right before the production started for the 3rd. Because Kevin was busy writing for Dawson's Creek he didn't have time to write a whole new script, so they had to bring in a new writer at the last minute. - The ONLY way I can see it work if they bring back Stu is it HAS to be the final movie of the franchise, and Neve Campbell HAS to be in it if they bring back Matthew Lillard. Going back to the very beginning where it all started with THE OG final girl and THE OG ghostface to finish it once and for all with the final showdown with the remaining survivors 💜😍 Also, I would love a scene with Sidney, Chad and Mindy with her sharing good memories with them about their uncle Randy 💜

But on the final lock in, he didn't have Bailey there. Also Ethan doesn't count as Ghostface as he didn't kill anyone

You just made me realize, Sam and Tara trying to hide in the aisles in the bodega was sorta similar to her having to get around those walls. They really were pulling lil scenes and concepts from Scream 2, but not being super obvious with all of it. Clever clever. 😊

@@lunacouer Yeah I don’t remember which one was the one that attacker her, but I know one of them referred to it in the third act. And Gale didn’t run, which made it so good. She’s always fought AFTER she knew who was behind the mask, this time, she went full bad ass and was ready to kill, and I respect her for that.

My guess is test audiences rejecting the idea. That original ending makes it canon that Sydney died. I doubt people would react well to that.

Originally in Scream 4, Kevin Williamson wanted Kirby to die, but Wes Craven changed it to where he left a possibility that Kirby could come back. When Charlie walked away from her, the camera was still on her moving on the ground. They were going to end that one with "there's a live one here," and Deweys asks if it's Sidney, and then it ends as a cliffhanger before he got an answer. They were going to put Sidney into a coma offscreen in between 4 and 5 after the house scene, and then Scream 5 was going to pick up where she recovers but have no memory of what happened. Jill was going to be in college and found out that living Sidney's life isn't as glamorous as she thought. Now, there is a killer after her who knows her secret. The theories were that it was going to be Kirby wanting to get revenge on Jill for getting away with what she did to her and her friends. BUT because they didn't know if there was going to be a 5th installment, they didn't want to leave that as an ending for Sidney where it looked like she actually died when that wasn't the case. So they changed the ending of Scream 4 by adding in the hospital scene where Sidney wakes up and Jill dies. That's why Jill says to Sidney at the hospital that "this is just silly, this was supposed to end at the house" and Sidney replies back with "Well consider this as an alternate ending". Which was a good choice on Wes and Kevin's part because Scream 5 ended up not happening until 11 years later, lol.

Chad was the only one stabbed a lot and survived (which has happened in real life) and Radio Silence's reason for doing it makes a lot of sense.

Chad is being set up as the new Dewey. Dewey def should have died in Scream 2, yet he didn't.

That is correct those are the best 3 openings the original will always be the best/goriest opening and scream 2 and 6 had very creative openings which is so refreshing after all the house openings tried to replicate the original but not being close to its level.

@@CipherSpectral I think it’ll be the first scream movie to not take place in the US I would love to know how the stab franchise impacted other places. So far a high contender for the new setting is London bc that’s where the carpenter sisters mom was at during the events of scream 5 and she’s a very important character so if scream 5 mirrored the original, scream 6 mirrored scream 2, that means scream 7 will mirror scream 3 so their mom will definitely be a focus next movie same for the dad they have to show up.
