I left christianity last week, "messianic judaism". Not from listening to anyone but simply decided to read about messiah in Torah. It was different, it didnt add up, john 3:16 is found no where in tanach. I read supposed verses about jesus and it was always cherry picked and chosen by those who taught me otherwise. Now i expect backlash and losing friends but its not bothering me. Opening my eyes to truth has finally answered my questions. Thank you to the god of abraham isaac and jacob, the creator of the universe and only god of israel.

If book of matthew was busy with exegesis/midrash it wouldnt have written "to fulfill what the prophet had said"...the author was either totally ignorant or intentionally distorting the text.

I value such Jewish teachers. Unfortunately many Jewish rabbi traded their religion with cheap politics in their alliance with the born again Christians.

Dang, I been looking at these things for years, and felt bad about dating to question Christianity... But for every unanswerable question, I am emboldened by God to continue forward, and each step continues to bring me closer to His word, His truth, and will for my life. Christianity in general should be called Paulianity.
