I take a ride to Angel's Diner to scuff in my new rear tire.

Hi Scott, this is Craig from the demo ride at EuroCycles Saturday. Great long vid on the one year of owning the 1200 Street Triple. Since I prefer track days now on my Ninja compared to riding slowly on curveless roads in Central FL on my Trident 660, I had planned to sell it. But after demoing the 1200 ST I'm starting to get an itch to trade it in on one cuz its also a great track bike. It was a pleasure to hang out with you. Maybe you should do some vids on your track monitoring days, very entertaining stories!

Thanks Craig. I'm glad you liked the video. I haven't done any track work in several years though. I am thinking about posting some short humorous/interesting/ unique stories type videos at some point. I thought about writing one of those "bathroom books" with a bunch of short chapters, but got frustrated. I still have a bunch of my notes, so maybe something will come of it on You Tube Thanks again, it was a pleasure meeting you.

Anyone seem interested in the bike during your ride? I wouldn't consider it a common-ish maker/model on the road. I would figure some people might want to check it out and ask a few things about it. It's such a nice looking ride.

I get a few riders asking about it. Not a lot though. I guess a lot of people

are just minding their own business. Staying out of "trouble" so to speak. As far as bike goes, Triumph produces far less bikes than the Japanese companies, but more than most European ones.

Hi Scott, how do you like the SC Project exhaust? Looks way better than the stock but does it sound better? Hard to tell a difference over the computer.'thanks

It has a deeper tone, especially noticeable during higher revs under acceleration. It also has a bit of the "triple burble" when decelerating. It's not excessively loud. I have tinnitus and I think the deeper tone is easier on the ears. For pure sound performance, I think there are probably other mufflers that would sound a lot racier.

@@scottsspeedtriplechannel thanks Scott for the insight! Any other exhausts you wish you got instead for a “racier” sound?

@@EpiceverythingProductions No. I liked the look of the twin can carbon fiber and I'm happy with the sound.

@@scottsspeedtriplechannel thanks I appreciate your honesty! I really like the look of the shotgun exhaust wondered if the slip on was enough for better sound or if I need to remove the cat to have a nice sound?

@@EpiceverythingProductions I think if you are looking for loud a shorty muffler might work. I personally like the looks of those too but I think it would be too loud for my liking.
