SD Gundam Generation World (PSP) - Custom Challenge [26] C03 マフティー動乱 

Hathaway's Flash. This was the first time I ever experienced it back then in any form of media having never read the novels. I also forgot that they had the entire speech for Mafty/Hathaway voiced here. Pretty generous of them.
It's a defence mission, but there's actually plenty of breathing room. I swapped out the Full Armour ZZ for a Phoenix Gundam (Full Power) in anticipation of potentially needing to fly up, but it turned out to be completely unnecessary. The Challenge Mission is to have Lane Aim fight Mafty within in 3 turns, which is pretty doable as well.
Clearing this stage unlocked Iフィールド (I-Field), which neutralizes regular beam shots and reduces the damage for penetrating beams to 50%. Doesn't protect against melee beam attacks (such as Beam Sabers), you'd need Beam Coating for that. Full Armour System, Beam Coating and I-Field combined would provide a unit with damage reduction against everything (only thing it doesn't is the Special category, which nothing shields against), though .
