After owning my ski for one year and getting just under 40 hours on her i have to say i couldnt be happier with it. This ski is playful and responsive yet stable enough to be able to go out in the big waves in the ocean as well. This ski has the ability to add multiple factory accessories that BRP made especially for these skis including a sound system. Many of these features i have added and love having them on the ski. Along with that the ski also features easy storage as well as the ability to accept a ski pylon for easy towing of tubers and wake-boarders. This ski is a 10/10 in my opinion i hope you all enjoy the video and if you would like follow my instagram @projectreaperjl

Great perspective on the power. I’m in the market for two Sea Doos and have been back and forth whether to go supercharged or not. I love the simplicity of the non-supercharged. Likely will go with one GTX170 but modded with the ski mode. Basically turn it into a wake 170 with an ST3 hull. My other one will likely be the Fish Pro. Not that I fish much but plan on using these to travel the ICW here in Florida and to camp. The fish pro has that huge rear deck for supplies. Great review! Def helped make up my mind. No supercharger for me!

Trying to decide if the ride to Portland, Oregon this week to buy it is worth it, because it is the ONLY unit available in any of the western states. Great Falls, MT sold their last unit this morning and the guy came all the way up from Colorado Springs to pick it up. There is not a single unit available within the western states. It would be our first jet ski. Flathead Lake, is the largest lake west of the Mississippi and gets serious waves and chop and acts like the ocean, so I'm thinking this is the right way to go. Truly thanks for a great review. Cheers

bigskies Montana oh man best of luck if you go into Portland stay safe but i do love this ski and it’s great on bigger lakes i was just on a decent sized lake this weekend about 3.5x1.5 miles and the ride is considerably fun you don’t feel small but not as large as you feel on smaller lakes, you will love this ski

Great review man! Also nice to see another MA resident! Where have you taken your ski to ride? I am thinking about getting a SeaDoo myself, either this model or the Fish Pro, it'll also be my first purchase of one. Have you had any issues at all with yours? I've heard they can be unreliable and that Yamaha is better for that. Thanks!

Mike Provolone i love it we also have an entire group on Facebook to get rides together i take this thing to the vineyard down the taunton river as well as the cape. The only issue i had was the carbon boot on the drive shaft rupturing and my dealer caught it before i did and they replaced it free there is also a recall for this on the 18 and 19 skis 10/10 recommend the seafood

Can you please make a video with the depth finder working on the lake? Also can you have the fish pro fish finder and the screen depth finder both on a RXT X 300?

I’m not sure where the transducer mounts on the ski for the fish pro fish finder so I’m not sure i am confident that the technology is there like it would work but if there is room in the hull for both transducers is what I’m not sure if and i can do that unfortunatly won’t be for some time untill we get some good weather here in the north east! Haha

JJ S on the new GTIs there is not sure about the none SE models but I’m pretty sure they brought all of that over across the board minus the spark untill they get a redesign I’m sure

It's an incredible machine. How many Gallons per Hour do you get full throttle?

This would be a complete estimation on my part as i have not found a statistic and there’s nothing to tell you i would say roughly vast estimation here maybe 3-4 per hour at full throttle if we had an imaginary wide open lake you could probably get 3 hours out of a tank having the throttle pinned the entire time

Is it good for non flipping at low speeds and little rough waves?

i have never flipped this ski even with 3 grown men on it its pretty impressively stable i have ridden with 1 passenger in some 6 ish foot waves a few alittle bigger and smaller and not even a close notion of flipping so you should be fine!!!

That depends what the money situation is i honestly love this ski and for the ocean i dont think I’d really get the use of the extra top end speed of having the super charger. I feel like i would still get the NA version but if i had the extra couple grand to just kill i mean why not right.

Task Force Offroad I’m exactly in this dilemma. Based off your review, I think I’m sticking with NA (170). I intend on using in water that typically can be choppy (including the open ocean). I agree that I’ll rarely use that extra 10 or so mph. Besides, if you do, you are really sucking that fuel! So then range becomes an issue. Also, I’d hate having to budget for a supercharger rebuild every year or so. And we are getting 2 so even worse.

@@Pilot545 from my experience, supercharged jetskis equal more problems. Unless you're out racing for money or fun, they ain't worth it.

How many miles do you make with one fuel tank?

ales alless another estimation here but i have found roughly 80-100 miles on a tank when i go out for a long day cruising to some of the islands around MA if you had it on eco mode the entire time you could probably bump that up to 130mi

@@TaskForceOffroad thats awesome range! I got myself gtx 170 to about 2 months but i couldnt run it yet becase of restrictions. We are going thought on first june on holiday finaly to try it out! I am going to take my dauther and wife for some nice trips with it. Thx for the review and answer. cheers

ales alless dude you’re going to love it your ski will be a bit peppier than mine which will make it alittle more playful due to the extra horse power you’ll see more acceleration and about the same top end speed either way you’ll love it are you on a lake or hitting the ocean?

ales alless it’ll be well worth the wait!! I perfer ocean more open and more fun in my opinion i honestly make myself sick on a lake driving around in circles like an asshole 😂 the ocean i dont have a problem with 😂😂
