Nice video John. thanks. I love these because I know the places and can visit them. point of interest. That is not a lake its the wide part of the Cymyran Strait. similar to the Menia Strait. the Cymyran Strait separates Angelsey from Holy Island, that "sluice" is one of the bridges across it. the water flows fast through it at high tide like the Menai strait. If you look at google maps you can see the the entire strait connecting the sea from the north to the south. Holyhead isn't actually on Anglesey its on Holy Island, hence the name Holy Head.

On a meal of double cheese burger two mates drop their hooks in the sluice it's all a good laugh without a gaffe yes, two mates who needed to hang loose It's just one of those things when the fish don't bite and slip on a rock as smooth as glass it made us all chuckle to see Webby buckle and nearly end up on your 'RASS'

yeah your right there John, i was going through a bad one i came up the coast around your end a couple of times, just to get out on my e bike but it gave me the idea to start coastal fishing used to do fresh water as a young teen im like mid 40s now hadn't fished for years, i cant wait till i can camp out for a night or 2 again when it warms a little, sat at the waters edge {ideally when not freezing) nowt matters and ya go home refreshed, viva la summer lol or something like that, cheers mate keep em coming

Used to love fishing off Anglsey we used to go to Mackrel point just off south stack . Not able to get down to the mark not longer my knees are totally knackered ( bone cancer ) ah well I still get out there with you lot .👍

Used to be a really good mark, the swim you fished to the right is a no go now with that big snag that gets everything including big eels I've hooked😬 worth a go fishing 100yards to the left if it's busy its alot less snaggy👌

There's a place near Amlwch you get 6ft plus conger eels been there twice and never blanked
