glad it helped you out. It sure does make a difference with the new seal. I have some other upgrade video posted about adding a reservoir and fluid level check cup so you dont have to remove the rear deck. In a pinch one user jabs closepins between the transducer housing and the sorry clips that are supposed to hold it onto the body. I have seen zip ties too, as those clips spring looses on some units. I screwed mine to the housing the same as the garmin units in boats are fixtured.
In a heartbeat -- this is one of the best craft that I have owned. Big Stable Great length.. and the depthfinder is awesome even at speed.. I would NOT get one of the first year models that had the IDR system, even if somebody said it had been fixe via the recall.
I have the same model as Bill and love it. Like him, I also do most of my own maintenance. There were some issues with earlier models having some small cracks (at manufacturing) on the right hand side foot well. If you buy one, make sure you check the right hand side and also left as well before making the final payment and driving away. My understanding is they fixed this with later models. Friend of mine owned two with right side cracks but the replacements have been fine.
