Hey mann, got one of these and chasing down a no spark issue. Think ive narrowed it down to the CDI after testing the ignition coil and the pick up coil (both ohm reading within spec.) Is there any other way yoy can recommend testing the CDI. Overall what caused the issue is the single wire coming out of the electrical box in the back was placed on the positive post on the battery instead of the negative. Thanks in advance

I’ve repaired a couple of the 787 carb engines and rebuild wasn’t the issue. Found blockage in either cooling system (check exhaust pipe with compressed air) or oilers at rotary valve. Rebuilding Raves is mandatory with engine rebuild. Also oil leak could be under oil tank where rubber seal gets loose over time.
