Picked this up in great condition and running excellent. It’s been so hot here and I’ve been itching to get in the water! Been wanting a Jet Ski for a long time. Glad I found this one.

I have a 95 sp. all I have done is replaced the battery that was in it. Its on my channel if you want to see it but basically looks identical to the one you have

Since you bought the jetski two years ago have you had any major issues or is it still riding well?

I no longer own the ski. I did some work to it to make it run better. Just normal maintenance things. However, I did find out the compression was a bit low.

Hey I'm working on the exact model/year and I can't get it to start. Can you (or someone in the comments) explain why there are 2 start buttons. Basically I don't understand why there is a green start button under the handles and a red one built in to the handles. I've been doing a lot of research but can't find many people with this exact model

Green is the start button, red should be stop, but the “key” has to be on the button above the seat.

I did it over the original, it was still in good shape just really faded and stained. I just didn’t want to deal with the old foam and potential of it ripping. We used a pneumatic staple gun.

MrGriffin23 ok thank you sir!!! Great info I will let you know how this goes, how did you get the shine back on the body and did you ever paint the top cover of the seadoo?? If so do you have a video??

No problem. I don’t have a video on that. But I did paint the hood and the fake side vents. I painted them with Aerosol can spray paint called, Zero Rust Black. It can adhere to plastic and it’s water resistant. It’s not perfect, but it worked. That’s the natural clear coat. It’s in good shape.

D P I forgot the exact name of product, but it’s similar to a Rust Fix spray or Rustoleum Rust Preventative spray that comes in a Rattle Can. It came in various colors. I just wanted black.

@@MrGriffin23 ya I have a 1995 SP want to change colors aswell feel like I'm on Miami Vice lol but want to DIY. Do u know of anyway to change the seat color without reupholstering?

D P Not really. U could dye it but that would be a pain. We just bought the seat cover and re-did it ourselves. It was a b#*tch.😂😂😂

D P Yep! Ordered from Watercraft Superstore on Amazon or eBay. I can’t remember. But it’s made to fit your specific year.
