Few programmes have been more exciting in the history of TV! This is one of the best that, unfortunately, never had enough episodes to syndicate in the US. In fact, until now it has only been seen on low-quality dupes from back in the 80's off of Australian TV.
This episode features a "BEWITCHED" mini-reunion with both David White and Maurice Evans. It also features a major appearance by the even-more-powerfully magical Angel Tompkins. I understand that a couple of years later she was Dennis The Menace's teacher.

I remember watching this show as a kid in the 1970s, but, couldn't recall the name of it; thanks for solving the mystery and the trip down memory lane.

I grew up in Northern Ontario, Canada and remember this series with so much fondness. I loved it so much. It was ahead of its time. Awesome series and one of the greatest all time themes. Was lucky to see all the episodes. It was aired as Probe.

When Hugh O'Brian died today, this show was the first thing I thought of, Wyatt Earp was before my time. He's the last survivor of the stars of the show to pass on. I loved the plots, the other leads Doug McClure and Tony Franciosa, high-tech crime fighting, night vision and biometric sensing, especially that theme music which I could hum for days at a time. I remember one episode where O'Brian used the contacts in his teeth to send a signal in Morse code! Thank you for posting the opening!

Great to see an episode of this ground-breaking show. Search would be an excellent TV show today......it was way before it's time.

This series would be perfect for today: computer technology, high-tech surveillance, and private detectives. It killed itself by being 30 years ahead of it's time. I smell reboot.

I was a wide-eyed 17 year old farm boy back in 1972, when I first saw this show, and it totally blew me away. Adventure! Excitement! Cool guys and beautiful women in faraway places! Amazing technology! And I enjoyed it all on the latest electronic wonder to come into our house---my parent's 19 inch RCA color tv!

+zooeyhall Oh man...It's 1972 and I'm lying on the living room floor watching "Search" on tv and humming this theme. My mum is in the kitchen making coffee and dad is in his chair falling asleep (as usual). Oh that wonderful and comfortable past...never to be again. I love this theme...I always have and always will.

I remember this series being promoted in the newspaper way back in the 70s. I was about ten and remember thinking that drilling one of his teeth to implant a microphone was probably a bad idea. "What about when he's eating cereal, or farting, or going to the toilet? Everyone in control will hear it."

Finally i found this series. Didn't remember its title. I was a kid at age of 6 and I remember an episode where the man in a sort of command control with some electronics devices like a ring (Burguess Meredith) was yelling: Locus, Locus, Locus !! I guess Locus was supposed to be the man in charge.

Guest starred two actors from the TV show Bewitched. David White, and Maurice Evans.

Wow! Samantha's father and Darrin's boss from Bewitched along with The Penguin from Batman! What a cast of characters here. Looks like an interesting program. I've never seen this one before

To Stephen Joiner & Ricardo Bell:Yes! I agree with both of you! I can see this show getting a well deserved re-boot just for technological advances from 1972-1973 alone.I remember watching the show & saddened it only lasted one season. What a great cast, guest stars & production.

Why this theme was so memorable I will never understand. To me it was just...so cool and dynamic for a naive teenage kid. Better than the man from uncle or I spy. Plus O"Brien looks like a young comic book Nick Fury...
