Searching for the worst wig on tv 

this just taught me that unless its truly ASTRONOMICALLY OBVIOUS that someone is wearing a wig, i cant tell

i think one aspect to consider is whether or not the character in-canon is wearing a wig, or if the show trying to convince us its that characters real hair. love u mike ❤

My worse wig is Amelia Pond’s fall the entire time she is on Doctor Who. They kind of try to hide it sometimes with a headband but then other times they don’t even try to match the part. And then she had to shave her head for Guardians of the Galaxy and it was all over.

ok, but i feel like there are two different categories; when a character is wearing a wig and the audience is supposed to know it.. . vs; when an actor is wearing a wig and the audience is supposed to believe it (am i making sense?).. . like, when a character is wearing a wig/disguise within the text of the storyline i feel like they often don't want to make a wig TOO believable, so the general audience who maybe isn't the most sophisticated can easily follow along with what's happening.. . call it the 'hannah montana' effect, but yea, two completely different categories in my book.
