I always saw the three stooges and the little rascals before me and my sister's ate breakfast and caught the school bus before the sun came about 5:30 am lots of good memories there are different channels on tv I can catch the 3 stooges occasionally would like to see the little rascals episodes on tv spanky,stymie, Petey the pup lots of good television back then
Rick, the “Weak Back, Week Back” gag at 3:47 has been a staple among my brother and cousins since we first saw it in the early 70’s. I knew it was a 3 Stooges gag but I forgot were it originated. Thanks! 🙏🏼
The Union commander asks the Stooges what happened to Operator 13. It's an in-joke concerning Curly, since he appeared in a cameo in the MGM Civil War flick "Operator 13". In that film the title role was played by William Randolph Hearst's mistress, Marion Davies, and her co-star was Gary Cooper. (The Stooges worked at MGM before Columbia) Curly answers the officer with a typical pun: "He fell in the river and died of Potomac poisoning!"
The "Good Time Charley" gag was done first by Harold Lloyd in his film Feet First. A couple of years before The Three Stooges used it in their short Uncivil Warriors.
So funny!! 👍 I remember as kids we'd pretend the couch pillows were cakes, the stooges must be where we got that, ha, ha. Which reminds me of an episide of King of Queens, Carrie and Doug resort to icing a small pillow and trying to pass it off at the church bake sale. The stooges are everywhere. 😀

Insightful information into the lives of the stooges, supporting players and all others involved with the short films. My Dad's name was Harry (so was his own Dad's name). My older brother is Gary. My first name is Larry so everyone calls me by my middle name, Doug (from Douglas). Dipper Pines (born Mason Pines) had it easier.
