I don't know if it's Kieran Culkin or the writers who get the credit (probably both), but the way Roman is SO terrible and yet I still feel such pity for him is masterful
All of the finales are named after the same poem which is called dream song 29 and speaks about Kendall. In the poem, right after all the bells say comes : too late. When They reveled the name of the episode we thought it was too late for Kendall but it was for all the kids I love how Kendall is so used to losing to Logan that he doesn't even seem surprised or so sad in the end, I see this finale being actually good for him. It's like he had to "die" to return to life as someone different, confess his burden and now at least he has his siblings. I read the script for this episode and it ends with this great line: "Tom heads on in to find the three siblings together. A hand held here. A bit of support there. Broken but together.”
the confession scene is my favorite one in the show and the acting is one of the best I've seen on tv. I'm still pissed that the squid game guy won over Jeremy Strong and Bob Odenkirk at this year's emmy
Damn. This episode rocked me. Fucking Tom. We should’ve all seen it coming. The minute he called Greg Sporus I knew what he was going to do. And how can u hate him after how he has been treated??? He was willing to go to jail for Logan for God’s sake! As for the sibs, the Kendall scene, omg 🥺👏.. how oddly beautiful it was! Seeing them all wipe a tear together for Kendall, seeing Roman falling to his knees with Kendall comforting him when Logan lowered the boom & Geri was not supportive of Roman, all whilst Shiv immediately sees what happened, just brilliance. My fave scenes were always the downtime sibling one’s… at wedding smoking, goofing on the yacht last season before Logan arrived, those make them so human. And the acting was phenomenal. What an ending! They released the trailer for Season 4 recently… give it a peek. I am SO excited for this next Season! Great reaction!!!
When I first watched it I struggled with the concept that the kids could retroactively be given a smaller ownership stake but apparently this isn’t unrealistic and is just another example of the kids not thinking of the different ways Logan could win.
This might sound bad, but the lesson they never learned was they can't beat their dad. They played his own game, like Logan says, take the fucking money.
@@JimmyMacram with the series finale we see that Tom completely owns Greg now, bagged & tagged him. Greg was trying to break free but he'll be Gregging forever now.
man ik this might be unpopular but I think season 3 was the show at its best the finale yet again has all the character arcs colliding with each other in a natural and dramatic way and I think Kendall confessing has to be the best acted scene in the show I can’t wait for season 4
I forgot that this season only had nine episodes but ughhhh this was so good. Thatl ook Shiv gave at the very end made me yell. I hope you watch the teasers for the new season, I can't wait for the trailer to drop.
Aw, Jimmy, I can’t wait for this show to come back and for us to proceed with season 4! (I’m assuming the shakeups at HBO won’t affect this show since it’s widely beloved and a reliable Emmys winner) I got tears in my eyes when Kendall sobbed to his brother and sister. Jeremy Strong deserves his two Emmys!
Shiv made it claer to for the past 3 season she didn't actually love him and his thoughts, feelings, and ambitions were not a priority. She made Logan a safer bet.
Thanks for all your time and effort putting these youtube edits together for us Jimmy. If you're ever lookin' for a similar show in the future I'd like to suggest 'Billions'. Very well written and acted drama about power and money with lots of great characters you will love to hate.

In the future, the last combatant standing to be Logan’s heir will be Greg. Greg will betray Tom to prove he’s the killer Logan will leave his company to.
Yeah, finally! I have always hated Tom. I think he is the true leech and opportunist, that's why Greg and him bond so perfectly. He is a social climber and Shiv, because she wanted to marry someone she could control, literally let the fox into the hen house. If you think back to all the episodes of this show, the person in the background and sometimes in the forefront who was always talking and thinking about his position in the family was Tom. Shiv, Kendall and Roman are family, they belong because they are family and Waystar is their inheritance. Logan has always dangled Waystar as the bait and watched his children scheme and plot against each other. But he knew in his heart that none of his children are qualified to run Waystar. Additionally, he is a narcissistic, egotistical bastard who cannot even imagine anyone else running Waystar but himself. And he also knows that his company is behind the times and can't keep up with the tech companies of today and their constant push of media content, so when this opportunity presents itself, he decides to do what most narcissistic and egotistical assholes do, look out for himself and exit while he's still on top and still in control. He was promised that he would not be made to look weak and that is very important for a man like Logan. He cannot stand to be thought of as weak. The man is older than God knows what and he's f**king a 22-year-old, I mean, it's all about his virility and his strength as not only a businessman, but as a man. So, when snake in the grass, Tom contacts Logan and spills the beans, he shows Logan that he is loyal and secures a place for himself in this new company. The look on Shiv's face screams the shock of the betrayal! She is so stupid, because she brought this upon herself. She let Tom into her family and she thought she could control him, but she was wrong. Perhaps you shouldn't tell the patsy you married for a husband that he is beneath you and that you don't love him! What an idiot she is. Tom really never hid his true self. In every episode he's in, he's talking about his position in the company, where he's going in the company, what his next step is in the company, etc. He is like Logan, in the sense that he is also narcissistic and egotistical, but unlike Logan, he doesn't really have the confidence and the power. He is a whiny little b**ch when he thinks he's going to go to prison. But by showing Logan that he is loyal and blowing the siblings' plan to block Logan's sale of the company, Tom has just secured the position and power that he has craved all along! This was such a good finale because this twist was so unexpected in the way it all played out. The kids are out! Can't wait to see what conniving and scheming the next season brings!
Tom does have some redeeming qualities. For instance, he was willing to be the fall guy for Greg not once, but twice: the "boar on the floor" incident in season 2, as well as agreeing to go to prison for Greg (no "quid pro quo") in season 3. He was able to see that he put Greg in a dangerous position by giving him the cruises "virus" and making him destroy the incriminating documents, and going to jail for him was the least he could do. Also from the beginning he said he would take care of Greg and he's kept his promise. So at least where Greg is concerned, Tom is extremely selfless.
@@smichelle65 But he still bullies him, I think he manipulates Greg, and their relationship is toxic and Tom treats Greg the way Logan treats his kid's " a dog he can kick, that will come back"
@@Musicluvr4 Yes, she did let the fox 🦊 into the henhouse. For someone who touted herself to be so intelligent and bright, with her political strategy experience, she was really blind. In the end, she would rather be in a loveless marriage with Tom (who is never going to trust her again and now has the power in the relationship). Power that Shiv unknowingly gave to Tom. When she put her limp hand into Tom's in the limo, that spoke volumes. She doesn't love Tom, she told him so in the last episode, and yet she still wanted to play the " we can still hook up because it's so convenient that we're still married" game. She thinks that by having Tom's baby she will have control over Tom, but she's wrong. She's played all her cards and Tom now sees her for who she is. Shiv was always subordinate to a man, first to her father and now her husband. And she's lost any type of relationship with her brother Kendall. What she did to him broke him and that relationship is severed. So sad. 💔
