WOW! Awesome test! I was worried about using the SeaSucker on my car for highway driving at 110km/y but it looks like it stays on very securely. Now I'm confident in buying the SeaSucker for my car. Thanks for the video! Love your Lambo! :)
Thanks for sharing!! I would love to use the SeaSucker Suction Cup outside on my sunroof for my GoPro while going through Utah and Colorado next month but, I'm afraid it could potentially crack the glass pumping it up. Thanks again 👍
Later in his video ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-q7J2tBdnVV0.html ) the ski box actually comes off, but not because the seasucker fails, but because the ski box itself comes apart. That thing about the closed circuuit though… 😂 No.
Big worry for me is security from targeted theft. Is there any way to lock these? If you could lock them, it might not prevent slow air leaks from the suction pump over time, but it would go some way towards providing protection over short term trips, popping into the shops, town driving etc.
Hello Brad K - We have a few options for shop stops. Basically you'll secure a metal ring in either your window, or trunk, and then run a cable through your rack and through that metal ring. We sell cables but, our system will work with just about any cable. Here's the link: www.seasucker.com/collections/security
Hey I have a question, I’m assuming your car is wrapped, and I was going through their website and they don’t recommend installing the sea suckers on wrapped roof cause it can pull a bubble off of it. Let me know about yours, I’m thinking on buying some sea sucker bike rack but I’m afraid since my roof is wrapped. Thank you!!
That's the same question I have right now. My 2018 Subaru WRX is wrapped except for the moon roof and rear glass. Worst case I can just affix to those but curious of how this has affected the wrap on this car.
