I have a 2020 ST version with 4drive. 300 hp ain't much these days, but it really moves for that power. Best daily car I've ever owned. Cheap to run, reliable, comfy (in comfort mode), decent quality, discreet styling, quite silent (which I actually like).
@@ron9509 300 hp is a lot in 1500 kg car (cupra st), but most of the new cars out there are 2000+ kg SUVs, so 300 hp doesn't sound much. Of course when you look at the specs of 4drive version of the car, it reaches 100 in less than 5s and 200 in about 18s and that's really fast. I remapped this thing last week to about 370 hp and it's absolutely mental now. :D
@@ron9509 it has 50k km and not a single problem so far. Tuner said it should be fine and safe at 360 hp. These EA888 engines are quite bullet proof and can handle impressive power gains. Change oil every 10-15k km and thats it.
When you say comfy and quiet I don'f know what to think anymore... Because people mostly complain about how noisy it is and that it is not comfortable...
I only watch the cupra videos because in my country, we don't have any cupras apart from the formentor, ateca, born and leon so basically we don't have SEAT cars but we technically do.
Father in law has a 2020, very nice but having too use a cable too connect your phone rather than bluetooth is stupid though. Dont get the pearl black as the scratching is just annoying to polish out, got the ABT rims and larger downpipe. One this which did shock me is his 2017 2.0L diesel manual. Only 150hp but god theres no turbo lag, it revs just like a petrol also and sounds nice but the cupra does sound nicer but it is modified. Really nice cars the seats and quality is great, seat tunes the engines diffrently to vw so evem though its the same block seat tunes it slighly different.
Why haven't you had the facelifted version yet? Maybe you did and I'm just blind, but I think that from all the Cupra videos I have seen so far on your channel, they were only prefacelift models.
Dad's has 170k and no issues, keep on top of servicing and care and they last just like any car. If you only want a car for high miles a Toyota will suit or someone who doesn't want to service a Toyota 😂
