People don't give him NEAR the respect for how smart he is. Conan did a little dig and he didn't forget that and came back later with a dig on Conan. He is the most fun to watch in an interview because he is honest and is SO funny because of his personality.
hugolafhugolaf Bach left the band in late 1996 after an argument with Bolan who turned down an opening slot on the Kiss reunion tour even though Bach already booked it. Other band members told Bach that Skid Row was too big for an opening act and that they were not going to do the show. Bach then left a message on a bandmate's answering machine telling them the band was never too big to open for Kiss
....He's a narcissistic bastard, lol. Fortunately, he had great vocals, but he's not that great of a person. Many in the music industry (as well as Hollywood) are all egos. It is what it is. Slave to the Grind is still one of my fav albums tho!
@@ZoranSandorov too big to open for kiss, LOL. The only thing that was too big was their egos. The only Thing that was big was Bachs great voice, his bis entertainment qualitys and his overall good lookin. The Man was a truly rockstar and pin up for all the girls. Look where are those losers (rest of skid row) now, playin in small bingo bars with second hand washed up copycatsingers
Everything that he says is interesting! My favorite video is where he's in the record store looking for records and talks about what they all mean to him
This very interview had me discover Skid Row. I was 14 or 15 in 2000 and after this interview I just had to find out more about this Sebastian Bach guy. So I hit Napster and ended up becoming a huge Skid Row fan about 10 years too late but better late than never. I sometimes go a while without listening to them, but just last week I blew out my voice trying to sing along all night. I had to take two days off work because I didn't want them to think I had covid. From Napster to Covid: My Life as a Skid Row Fan.
The only reason why James Hetfield of METALLICA had cut his hair down was because of his second degree burn. Summer of 1993 while touring with the GnR PUSSIES!! Do you remember? ANYTHING?
Yes, this! So luxurious that it'd almost be a crime if he cut it. Yet that doesn't stop Conan (and other male online commentators) from questioning why it's long. Guys also rag on him online about his clothes but Sebastian knows how to dress well. 💋 Amiright, ladies?
This is very sexist to say cause women don't owe you to look beautiful, they're not decorative second sort humans, they're as human as men are. ''Post feminist/feminist West'' my ass. You all should read at least ''The Second Sex'' by Simone de Beauvoir, this is really embarrassing of you
Windwar attack Love the comment!!! :) Funny thing is, no boyfriend to tell! No husband to tell, at least not anymore! I would however, get a :"shame" "shame" on you mama from my grown boys!!! They give me hell about still liking me some Sebastian!!! LMAO, likely just told off on my age!!! Seriously, thanks for making me :)
Conan is my favourite TV host and Sebastian my favourite vocalist. I was expecting more chemistry between them in terms of humour as they are both hilarious... Got to admit I loved Seb's come back at 2:03 btw...
I remember watching this, and thinking that Conan was being unfair here ... like he didn't want Baz there, and was going to be difficult as possible in protest.
Nothing absolutely Nothing is Hotter than long haired men they all have this animal magnetism sexy and to be a musician even better so glad I grew up listening to these guys ps there still Hot look at Bret Michaels and Sebastian Bach
Best Broadway Show I’ve seen. Then he was done and the next Hyde was David Hasselhoff?? Sebastian was so good as both mostly Hyde. He had that Rock n Roll scream and the hair. His singing was great!
I agree!!!! I’m so glad I saw Sebastian do this show. And awesome he mentioned The Philadelphia Spectrum. My sister stood in front of the bus and wouldn’t move. Sebastian was standing in the front window waving at her and smiling.
Bash you are still so beautiful, intelligent and so interesting. Love you Bash!!!!! And thanks for sticking it to Conan. He was rude and you sure got em' lol
Sûch a loveable funny interview.Seb actually managed to not say "What the F..."!!!!Anyway about the Broadway Thing..Les Carlsen the lead singer of Bloodgood did it the reverse way round. He was in the Broadway Show "Hair" way back when, then later started his career in the theatrical heavy metal band Bloodgood.More theatrical than just about any HM I know.Especially the 1989 concerts (filmed, and available on Video and DVD) Alive in America and Shakin the World.Christian Metal that really can kick ass,in a good positive life-improving sense of the Expression.
I love Conan, been watching him since the beginning, but this is an odd interview. That question about why Sebastian still has long hair was weird. Conan seemed generally combative, like he was pissed off. I wonder if there was something behind the scenes that turned him sour on Sebastian.
Conan was always underrated as a late night host. He is a thousand times better than Jimmy Fallon, that's for damn sure!! I love Baz, I saw the J and H on You Tube and he was crazy awesome in it. Nobody can scream like Baz. Shame him and the other Skids just couldn't get along. Will probably never know what really happened, 2 sides and the truth. I think Baz got too big for the other guys in the band and egos were hurt (Skids) on one side and egos got huge (Sebastian) and it turned into a big clusterfuck. I miss the hair bands, THAT was music, not the electronic, sampling, lip-synching crap that is called music now. You wouldnt catch Skid Row or Whitesnake lip synching or sampling other ppls songs or having other artists "featured" on songs to sell records. Music is a joke now, would be great to have another wave of hair bands come around.
He was stupid. Bas did great! Never been a fan of Conan. I saw this when it first came out, and Bas didn't really impress me at first, but now I look at it 17 years later and I'm like "wow, great interview!" And he actually had some comebacks for Conan and got him good! Conan kind of asked some stupid questions and got what he deserved. I don't blame Bas for being a smart ass. He only didn't impress me because of the "I get laid and I get paid" remark. But years later, I look at and realize that I was being way too sensitive about it. I think it's actually kind of funny. Bas still looks like a jammer after all these years. Maybe aged a bit, but it doesn't matter. So have I. He's still a wonderful rocker and I like him.
