I thought it would be fun to collaborate on a song with three other dudes. The original band was a four piece.
The stipulation was that none of the rest of them knew who they were recording with. They all know me, and some knew the others, but not that they were recording with them. Some have still, and never will meet.
I planned to introduce them all in a video chat. It likely won't ever happen.
So I'll simply leave it to you to guess who the performers are on this recording.

Actually, he aproached me about doing some heavier stuff a couple years back. We finally did one. Such a pleasure to get the opportunity to sing this tune with him. We have a few recordings of original material that are still in the works. Who knows if anyone will hear them. Chris and Preston were fabulous to work with. Nice to have a real drummer perform on a recording. Preston nailed it.

Thank you for the release of this Secret Collab. Such a good track! So I think the players are Jack Flash lead vocal, Tim Roberts, guitar and possible backup vocal, Marshall Turner, guitar and some harmony vocals. That leaves me with the fourth member and their role in the collab. I can't say for certain but there may be a third voice in the vocal mix, if I am right I believe that is Mark Tanner. I am not finished though. Another possibility for the fourth member exists although a bit of a stretch. A drummer the drums in this are epic and mixed so well I can't tell for certain but if these are not programmed drums then I believe the fourth member to be; Bobby Lopes R.I.P. drums.😥😥🙏🙏

Jack found some serious grit. It was so awesome to hear. I've loved Metal from a very young age. I hope maybe I can write an original tune and get Jack to use some of this style to record it. Who knows.

I compressed everything to within a millimeter of life, then I used Deverb to clean it all up, and then a shit load of tape saturation to find that early 90's sound. And, I'm completely full of shit.
