the fact that Scott's "Cleo was included in the deal" was so immediately taken as a threat of kidnapping is still so very funny to me

I love how perfectly Etho's tasks have fit his personality so far. Its like an entire series of "You've been Etho'd!"

Etho confusing Gem for Cleo at 30:22 gives real big "kid following a random woman to her car in the parking lot thinking she's his mom" energy.

Lmao mumbos task: be etho's best friend. Etho: trades mumbo to lizzy for a cow and leaves him

I like that etho edited it to make bdubs’ story sound even more boring than it was.

Mumbo was such a big fan of Etho as a kid so just hanging out with him must be kinda surreal

The way Etho went from trying to be sneaky about it to just increasingly more and more obvious 💀💀 hahaha

Etho's comedy in this episode was priceless. "Yea, I was trying to get everyone to sleep again." Dying.

Everyone freaking out about the berry bush really shows how stressed they are during these sessions lol

Etho definitely succeeded. I saw Grain's video, and he was definitely Jumpscared. He probably was the most scared among all of the other attempts. The TNT one definitely Jumpscared as well and the pufferfish one, too. Also, Mumbo got jumpscared by the Berrybush Etho planted infront of his house. But, unfortunately the Boatdrop surprise didn't work, everyone was preoccupied with a different thought to realize Etho's sudden presence.

Etho really is a drop everything and just watch kind of youtuber.

Cleo, BDubs, and Etho are the actual dream team. I would love to see more content of those three, like, Team Canada style

Task: make up a fake task and then, "accidentally" leak your fake task to another player and have them take you to the secret keeper to hit the fail button. Upon reaching the secret keeper hit the succeed button in front of the player you tricked.

Okay, Etho needs to make like a hedgerow of sweet berry bushes around his base. Maybe a whole field of them. Everyone will become terrified of the mountain lair surrounded by berry fields.

This would have been an amazing opportunity to have martin's soundboard to jumpscare people with creeper sounds

That first scare definitely counted. He didn't jump in game, because he jumped IRL. Either way, a "jumpscare" doesn't necessarily require a jump. It's a term for something sudden that surprises you as if you were scared. edit: Also, Gem definitely did jump in game when you did the TnT thing. So with that, you fulfilled any requirement you could think of.

this episode was just everyone coming to willingly do Etho’s chores lol loving this season of life with all the weirdness, can’t wait for next week!!! some moments I cackled at and need to save for the future: 21:11 Bdubs’ drive by ”this horse is so stupid and small” and the instant cut to the next clip, golden 23:38 ”Cleo is included on the deal” and Etho thinking they were gonna take her with the cows lmao 27:20 Etho being completely silly with all the jumpscares, but especially this one 30:58 the non-cut version of this in Cleo’s episode was somethin… poor Lizzie XD

Gem trying to sneak the grey panes into Etho's inventory and him clocking them instantly had me in stitches. You can't glass the master, Gem. :P

The jump cuts during Bdubs story was one of my favorite editing moments from Ergo, and thats saying alot since hes got so many good moments of brilliant editing.

I love the cuts showing the progression of time as Bdubs keeps droning on

I love how the saying is that "Etho is your favorite mincrafter's favorite minecrafter" and then there is Gem, who Etho has made a mortal enemy of in just a couple of years. It's hilarious

I think the scares as early as Grian could count. Jumpscaring someone doesn't necessitate that THEY jump, just that you suddenly cause them to be scared (usually without warning.)

Cleo and Etho are so hilarious together, I LOVE that they are starting together and i hope they continue their alliance this series. Its awesome lmao

Man, he wasn't lying, this server really is full of weirdos. I laughed so hard this episode, I gave myself a cough. Love seeing this group hang out together.

I think Etho had more jump scares than anybody else this episode. From the berry bush into the sheep hole, the pufferfish to over the cliff, and overall jumpiness fueled by the compulsion to get a jump on others. the task doesn’t count himself but the scares did work!

Don't lie everyone, you guys know you were waiting to watch Etho's perspective first...

Oh my god, this is one of the best series they’ve done. Every time Cleo shows up on the pig I just start dying laughing.

I like how most of the tasks in the first episode were not super obvious, so it was super confusing wondering what everybody else was doing, but in this episode, everyone is doing the most obvious things in the world, but nobody questions it because they don’t want to make somebody else fail

hearing etho yell in all caps isn't something that happens often but when it does it's hilarious

This episode has made me love the Etho and Mumbo duo even more than I thought I would. Loved seeing the shenanigans you got up to! Secret Life is shaping up to be one of my favorite seasons in the Life Series. Thanks for an endearingly weird episode, Etho! :D

Etho and Cleo are such a fun duo to watch, Etho seems so happy to be teamed up with her. This series is so bizarre and I’m love every twist and second of this.
