Why not make it similar to the Trials of Mana remake, with jumping/evading, different attacks and two ring menus (one for items, the other for Alchemy). Just no Class Strikes, the R button is used to run instead.
I hadn’t played this game in about 20 years but I’m amazed i can still remember some of the alchemy spells you showed here. It just made me rack my brain wondering if i had gotten all the ones you showcased here - some I remember earning clear as day, others were a bit fuzzy. It’s interesting to think that none of it really matters in the end. I loved the game but after beating it - had no sense of replay value. Maybe after a long period of time, perhaps.
Thanks for posting this! I'm creating an interactive game for a convention and I needed all the alchemy formulas from the Evermore game. Your walk through actually helped me get everything I need. :)
At Sting, if you also talk to the man playing as the dog, he'll give you a collar! At Crustacia the mad monk that sells you a very "expensive" (as in 10k jewels) amulet of annihilation includes charms: including the chocobo's egg, the wizard's coin, the magic gourd, and then 3 METEORITE. There is no renewable source of dry ice, but this will enable you to use it all the dry ice you find without finding all of the meteorite. This mad monk only appears when you do not have an amulet of annihilation.
Supposedly there is a spot in the space station where your dog chased the cat where you can buy dry ice. I've heard of it several times but never got it to work myself.
Apparently your cart can eventually stop working because, although it's never happened to me, theres a little battery inside that holds save files. If it ever dies, you can no longer save games. So the game will work but you wouldn't be able to save your game. It can be replaced, and even though there's a RU-vid vid on how to do it, it just seems like it would be easy enough to fuck it up... But they claim that it's easy. Idk. I'm actually very surprised that yours hasn't died yet lol. That dude in the vid was saying that the battery only lasts like 5 years, 10 or 15 at the most? Damn.
nice that you actually show the ingredients you can buy at the last alchemist grease, that's the guy you wanna buy it from for the Reflect alchemy. genius
still playing it every so often. i wish it would be re released on steam. I replaced the batteries in my cartridges, so i can still play on my snes. Usually i just emulate it on my phone or laptop though.
Nah Flash is a spammers paradise. Easy af to find alchemy ingredients for, easy to level up. I grind the fuck out of it, was just wrecking everything including bosses with 999 for every hit. It felt like a gamebreaker. Decided just to not do it because there was no challenge anymore.
Most of the time, I would usually use the following 8 Alchemies the most often besides Reflect & Energize. 1: Super Heal 2: Heal 3: Revive 4: Barrier 5: Miracle Cure 6: Drain 7: Double Drain 8: Lance
Hint: Make sure you buy 99 Vinegar from Madronius after completing the second Antiqua dungeon. You won't be able to buy it again for a LONG time, and you'll need it for Double Drain!
I read about that in the Wikipedia. Also learned there was supposed to be a fifth world called Romancia but it was scrapped. This game deserves a sequel, remake or something.
