To answer his question at 30:19, if Corey had the Gilded Lotus, it would tap for 177,147 mana. He is correct for the most part, It's actually X*3^10, where X is the original amount you would get.
What’s wild is Jeremy could have won this game if he sacrificed his Dualcaster to the Bombardment and copied it with Hofri. But this ending was funnier.
Corey's spell would have stopped it fwiw so the result is the same. I agree Jeremy didn't even use what makes his commander great and try to fight through it though
Watching this one out of season, but i hope you all are doing well. @jeremy this is the guy who sent in that maelstrom artist proof to you. Im so glad to hear you still have it. John used my Doran deck i built in a finally back in 2018 too. Just have such a connection with you guys. Much love.
Less than halfway through the video Steven started his turn that concluded the game. And this is one of the funniest commander vs videos I’ve ever watched 😂
Stephen playing a Cheatyface off of Selvala's Stampede and then having Phyrexian Metamorph enter as a copy of it was just pure psychological warfare. Edit: Jesus, and then Rite of Replication? Savage.
WOW I had so much fun watching you guys play!!! That's why you easily remain my favorite commander show. Period!!! Thank you so much for this early X-mas present to us the community!!!
This was hysterical! Steven, never change. This was a gem the likes of which might only be rivaled by the all mill game back in the day with our good friend Justin Parnell. Thank you all for continuing this series and brightening our lives with your silly antics, wacky decks and shenanigans week week. Happy Holidays to you all and keep 'em coming!
Classic game of Maelstrom Wanderer. Cast your commander, get interacted with, still go infinite and win the game on turn 4. What's funny is that Jeremy could have won through the dispatch (though he'd have been stopped by Corey). Crazy game and a great example of why games like this are only fun when they happen every once in a while
John's deck tech was great. "We all know Jeremy loves playing sultai and stealing our cards and playing them on his side of the board, so I did none of that for him" though I do love how MOSTLY everyone built a deck for their person out of their comfort zone
THIS WAS THE GREATEST GAME OF COMMANDER I HAVE EVER SEEN EVER OMFG 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Idk what was better, stephen piloting the deck or Corey making the monstrosity in the first place. I'm off to build a maelstrom wanderer deck now cause that looked so fun!
This might just be my favourite episode ever. The stack was definitely not empty! He shouldn't lose a point though, the other play he said would have been so much funnier!
He didn’t need to lose a point for killing the table in one turn. Just take out John and Corey. Then leave the Lotus untapped and Jeremy at one life and on his upkeep do it again and kill him.
Merry Christmas! What a great year of SCG Commander! Loved watching you guys play. Learned so many new cool decks to play. Here's to whatever 2024 Commander has in store for us! Fallout????
