Rather than adhere to protocols which need to be memorized, I strive to understand each patient's patterns and match the treatment to their situation. This relies on strong knowledge of anatomy and understanding of dysfunction and pathological processes.
I hope to begin to lay the groundwork for a system of manual therapy that can be taught without protocols, but based on anatomy, physiology, and what we know about how manual therapy and rehabilitation affects and changes tissues.
That way, each provider can approach their work based on their own preferences, skills, talents, and scope of practice; and each patient can receive care that is truly individualized.
I truly hope you enjoy this!
