This Helix / HX Stomp preset walkthrough will highlight a couple of the most important techniques I've found to getting a great overdriven tone on the bass guitar. We'll talk about parallel dry-through paths, adjusting the sag and bias controls in the amp head, increased high cut on the cab, and using compressors to get a more even, sustaining tone.
