About two weeks ago 5 AM in the morning Eastpointe Michigan 9 mile and Gratiot I was robbed by four individuals driving a silver vehicle, they cut the locks off my enclosed trailer in my driveway while I was sleeping and stole all of my landscaping equipment. The similarities are striking to say the least bit not sure if they are the same individuals but eventually someone is going to catch up to them and I can only hope it’s not the police department.
NEW STANDARDS MUST BE MADE NEWER VEHICLES ON DEALERSHIPS LOTS REMOVAL OF STEERING WHEELS WITH ONLY SEVERAL VEHICLES WITH STEERING WHEELS FOR TEST DRIVES THESE BOLD BRAZEN THFTS ARE TOO COSTLY FOR OWNERS AND INSURANCE COVERAGE PROVIDERS WILL RAISE THEIR COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH MAINTENANCE COLLISION VANDALISM AND THEFTS
I think a fingerprint integrated ignition module would do the trick. Not only require you to have a key but your fingerprint to start. It’s really the auto manufacturer that could be doing a much better job at preventing theft.
