I like these instructional videos. It would be great if you did a series of tutorials. You can market your products and your educators. Win win...just my opinion
Jimmy gel is amazing I like to use it to give a little bit of strength to natural nails it works perfect so easy to apply and so smooth... I just love it
We're glad you love it. A TON of research and development hours by our amazing chemistry department and product evaluation team went into JimmyGel, and we couldn't be happier with the results!
@@LightEleganceHQ that is amazing how much work you guys put in each product you developed and the results speak for themselves... I am so proud to be part of this amazing family... Thank you for all LE products thank you for Jimmy gel... Idalia.
I’m hoping I’ll win your wonderful light elegance competition. I’ve been hoping to become a light elegance technician for ages now but haven’t yet managed to save up for the products, and the awful coronavirus has put everything on hold now. Good luck everyone who enters 🤞🍀 Stay Safe and well x
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks! The JimmyGel does add some strength to the natural nail, but you are correct. This is not a structured manicure in this video. To add more strength & structure, you would add another dollop of JimmyGel to the first slip layer and allow it to self level as you work it down the nail. You can see that technique here: ru-vid.comFUpXTWCLw1o?si=Us_bxA2RreNfkCKa 😊
The Jimmy Gel in this video looks like a thinner viscosity than the bottles I just recently purchased. Is there something I can do to get it to come out of the bottle a bit thinner? It seems very thick. Thank you!
Temperature can greatly affect the viscosity of a gel! Try warming the gel slightly on a mug warmer or put the bottle between your knees or in your pocket before applying. The clear JimmyGel will be slightly thinner than the colored JimmyGels because the added pigments do change viscosity slightly.
Hi Brandi. Yes you can apply traditional nail lacquer over JimmyGel, I would recommend using the LE Foamie to remove the shine from the JimmyGel first.
Great Question Lynda! JimmyGel is a much more advanced technology, with strength and greater flexibility. JimmyGel is a thicker viscosity gel that self levels beautifully, you can use as a base coat, build a bit to add strength and create extensions with it. It can be used with or without a bonding agent, but if you are going to maintain the clients nails by filling the JimmyGel, we do recommend using Tack. It can be filled in or, if complete removal is desired, it can be soaked off in acetone. Manicure gel is a much thinner viscosity, so it must be applied in thinner layers and if filed very thin, would still take approximately 45 minutes to an hour to completely soak off in acetone. Manicure gel is meant for used on the natural nail only and not recommended for creating extensions. I hope this helps!
