one correction, the most comfortable humidity levels are between 40 and 50 percent. 30 percent is very low.

“See” instead of “set” which people are actually looking to do. Provided zero useful information. Keep racking up those views though!

I have a Ranco Dehumidistat wired into my current HVAC system. I believe that it's simply a switch to control power to the thermostat based on humidity levels. I'm replacing my old thermostat with a Google Nest learning thermostat. Do I need to worry about this when setting up a 4 wire system on the Nest Learning? Do I need to wire in the dehumidized that separately? Thanks!

Will it control furnace blower ON/OFF? My humidifier is mist kind and requires heat and blower working together with humidifier. My humidifier also requires furnace blower to work a couple minutes after humidifier switches off automatically to distribute all the moisture collected in the duct. If blower stops the same time with mist humidifier moisture still will sit inside plenum and makes it rust. Will this Humidifier Control have this setting so furnace blower work few minutes after humidifier switched off??

Why mine shows zero and this is the second Nest 3rd generation I just bought?

Never actually shown how to set the humidity. Waste of time.

I'm pretty sure that is the outdoor humidity. Nest 3rd gen doesn't have a humidity sensor.
