That are very good production and LONG holders in ground growing for 3 years no rotting that give benefide to The growers thanks for sharing technologie God bless you !!!
Great video. I'm curious however on where these varieties came from. If they are GMO then the profits will be great but the health implications later will be just as great. We need to protect local varieties even at lower yields. Anyone knows who controls these varieties?
How can I buy those cassava seed as I reside in Dar es Salaam,Tanzania. I know there buses go up to Kampala Uganda. So is it possible and how much will cost me in Tshs, from where you at to Dar es Salaam, bus stand?
Nice video, thanks for sharing. But I am not getting it well. What does he harvest twice or thrice? Because it seems like you sell something without uprooting the cassava and then when you uproot it, and then sell that thing again, what is this? Thank you for your answer.
Cassava stems are cut for sale as stem seed to other farmers to plant. Cutting these stems encourages more tubers growth too. Stems can be cut in year one and two. You can also harvest some cassava tubers by digging out a few for sale before you eventually uproot all for sale and clear the field. This can be done in Yr 3. So the cassava farm is a money maker continously for 3 yrs as he explains here.
You say cassava fermentation but did you use bitter cassava and the other is sweet cassava. Sweet cassava you cook bitter cassava need proper Preparation before eating. But bitter cassava is more expensive because of the Preparation involved. Cassava generally does not carry a great deal of nutrients that is.why you eat meat fish or dal for the protein.
I really digged this video. The first part is so impressive. The second part was kind of disappointing. All these people stepping where cassava is being processed make me question hygiene conditions.
