After obtaining a Sega 32X, I decided to give it a test drive with my Mega Everdrive. Unfortunately, they're not working with each other. Here's a video showing the issue I'm having.
hi had a problem, when tried a game on the everdrive with the 32x like doom, the border would go blue and the marine would just spin in a circle, other games would lock up and the system needed a reset, I tried different SD cards and updated the software on the card, what cured it was I bought a new mega drive / genesis the version I was using was the later 1601-1605 , when I changed it to the high diff model it works fine, very strange it may or may not sort your issue
Mark O I eventually found out that the problem was the Sega CD ac adapter not plugged in. The Everdrive cart was pulling too much current for the console to properly boot.
I had found out that there is an issue with the AC adapter not being plugged into the Sega CD. Apparently, there is a voltage issue that interferes with the Mega Everdrive.
@@Ex_Savior it sounds weird on the first level but the gameplay is smooth, leaps and bounds over the snes. the best version out at the time was the jaguar port.
@@Ex_Savior There is a fan made hack of DOOM for 32X that is arguably better than the PS1 port. Search for DOOM Resurrection 32X. It shows just how much power the 32X actually had. It is like a completely new port.
