A nice video of a true legend from Seiko. I wish they release a smaller version more in spirit with the original. The one thing that has stopped me from buying this watch is that I find the minute hand a bit too short
All Thumbs I think Spencer needs a padawan. I think he posted recently that his waiting list is ridiculously long and he wasn’t taking on new work for a while.
Thanks! It’s great that they’ve finally started doing that. I’ve been meaning to stop by the store, now I have my justification. Out of curiosity, did they actually repair it in the shop?
@@InterestingWatches yes I have a grand Seiko snowflake had to mail it to the service center . They did a great job very professional even polished out a few scratches . Now I have a 2 year warranty
@@InterestingWatches well it'll take at least a 3 to 4 weeks mine took longer cause they had to replace a part which had to be ordered . My spring drive was about $500 your milage will differ
It’s homemade. It is all Velcro and is held together with a traditional buckle. It may not be much to look at, but I do find it functional and comfortable.
Interesting Watches Mate that watch cries out for quality rubber. If you don’t like Seiko rubber try a crafter blue or Uncle Seiko. That home made strap might be comfortable, but why put a fuzzy monstrosity on such a beautiful watch?
They are so different, it would be hard to choose. It really depends on what kind of environment you would wear a watch in. It’s pretty hard to get away with a tuna in a more formal setting. The mm300, OTOH, can be dressed up or down. Then there is the quartz movement - some simply prefer mechanical watches. It would depend on you... . Right now, I usually wear the tuna can.
