Best MM300

I have the SBDC051 very similar to the 63, mainly do the crown placement, otherwise look very similar. Have it on the supplied rubber strap which is comfortable. Both seem amazing for what you get in the watch. I do slightly prefer the 51's crown placement but it would not have been a deal breaker. I also have the 63's cheaper sibling the SBDC069 which uses hardlex instead of sapphire. I did switch the band out (not a fan of seiko's bracelets) to a model specific Strapecode Jubilee style, makes the watch. If at the time when I ordered the 69, if I knew would probably have went with the 63. But it was also $180 cheaper. Still it's a good watch, and outside of the bezel and crystal, mechanically similar. Thanks for the review,. With all these similar numbers and size one can go crazy.

Mm300 is the ultimate seiko diver for a seiko nut provided you can wear the beast

6R15 movement actually sounds grainy in your video. My SBDC051 also sounds grainy when winding, but that's really a common issue with the 4R35 and 6R15 series movements.

I'm looking at a sla021 right now. Was the watch over all to big for you are was it to thick . Are both. I have a turtle an it's a big boy to but wearable to me 7in wrist

Just thinking , you could always take your watch off and put it in your pocket when you walk through a door way , that way you would never hit it on a door jam.

I really do like the Marine Master, but damn........too expensive for what it is. I'll take an Oris Divers sixty-five with Calibre 733 over a Seiko 6R15 movement.

Something has been keeping me away from watches with diashield and after your description of it that’s why. Sounds like Seiko needs to put a lot more work into it.

The original hands on 053/063 are just ugly...main reason I've sold mine 053 and got the Sumo, just couldn't look at it. I really think that the Sumo does reminds me of the MM300 but with a much better price and the same mediocre movement as the 063.

I much prefer the mm200
