Got mine about a few days back. Excellent watch, even more impressive in person. Accuracy is superb, and it just wears so nicely. Feels smaller than the dimensions suggest. Nice video!
I still think this is the best diver watch ever made . It’s just as good or better than a Rolex Submariner at 1/3 of the cost . I have yet to acquire this amazing 🤩 watch but definitely hope to one day 👍🏻💯
I own this watch. I did own a Rolex Sea Dweller for many years. Seiko A+, Rolex “C” grade, for quality, no comparison. Rolex however has best brand equity, it’s average quality watch commands huge prices due to huge collector base. Everybody equates “Rolex” with “the best”. Informed watch aficionados know better. MM300 leaps and bounds better than any Rolex…
I have been long after this one for a few years and finally received my sbdx025 this week as a gift from my wife. It wears surprisingly small and it does not feel overwhelming on my 16.75cm wrist. Hope i will enjoy wearing it for many years.
I had one for a few months, bought it used from a friend and loved it. I sold it because I ended up getting a call for a Sub. I do miss it and recommend it highly to anyone who is thinking about it and don't want to spend way more for a Rolex or Omega SMP.
Im really not in to brands that didnt respect own clients like rolex do, more possible that I will buy 5 diferent mm300 watches than anything from them, Omega yes why not but nothing has manly look and fill like mm300 do, cheers
I agree with everything you have said - however, i thought this was a long term review? After 3 years of ownership, please tell us your thoughts. What have you learn't? I've had mine a few years too. I'd say, to any prospective owners out there: 1. 100% wears smaller and looks smaller than the stats would suggest 2. Yes - its a lump, but its weight disappears on your wrist in a matter of seconds. I've never noticed it once its on. 3. Bracelet micro-adjust - is so good. My wrist size changes constantly, weather / activity related - this is so easy to adjust on the go. 4. I have an Omega SMP and this is (in every way) a more impresive timepiece. 5. Bracelet - you'll hear moans (rightly) about Seiko bracelet quality. I have no issues with this one - I wish the clasp was milled, but its not and its absolutely fine. The bracelet absolutely goes with the case of th8s watch. 6. Value for money - I'd say it represents the best you can get for a quality dive watch - however, purchase used and this becomes extrodinarily good value. It'll depend on where you are and what you get I guess, but I sourced a 9 month old SLA021 in mint condition for £1800.00. I know the earlier 'Marinemaster' branded versions can fetch a premium, but I wouldn't get hung up on that. 7. Uniqueness - a monobloc case, where everything goes in from the front / a great Grand Seiko movement - hand assembled by a group of Ladies in a room in the Seiko plant / every part of the movement is CNC machined not stamped out like your run of the mill Omega's and Rolex's. Finally - you may have figured out that I am a huge advocate for this watch - like the Man says - get one, you will not be disapointed.
@@mohnnadmercedes8246 The MM300 bezel is thick, wide and chunky if you will but it has the best grip among the rest of the Seiko Prospex dive watches. It will turn with an excellent and satisfying feedback in any situation, either dry, wet or wearing gloves.
